We'll be back tomorrow as Donegal look to get the better of Meath, and you can watch that one on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two NI from 15:30 BST.

Congratulations for Kerry, commiserations to Tyrone and we'll see you again tomorrow for more fun in the sun.

The fact Tyrone went that long without a score was soul destroying. It takes energy out of you with nothing to show for it.

  3. 'It was very solid' - David Cliffordpublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 12 July

    FT: Kerry 1-20 Tyrone 0-17

Player of the match David Clifford speaking to BBC Sport NI: "We had a very good second half against Armagh but it was important to back it up. We knew we didn't have to get to the heights of the second half against Armagh, but it had to be solid and it was very solid I thought. We have loads to work on but were delighted to be back in an All-Ireland final."

On his goal: "Niall Morgan is an unbelievable goalie, particularly for hand passes across the square, he is so dynamic to get out to them so you know at times the only way to get past him is to go round him."

On the final: "It's hard to analyse both teams, but we're just sitting back trying to recover tomorrow and we'll have an eye on the game."

Tyrone didn't come out in the second half at all. Their shot efficiency was poor. It was one of those that one team was playing unbelievably well and the other was playing unbelievably bad.

Tyrone started quite well in the second half but for 20 minutes they couldn't register a score and David Clifford finished with 1-9 and he was so hard to handle. Tyrone will walk away and think they have done a decent job with Sean O'Shea and Paudie Clifford but they couldn't handle David, he was outstanding.

The moment that changed the match.

It was the David Clifford show at Croke Park.

He netted a hat-trick in Division One, and was a menace again today.

David Clifford is gold. The more you see him the more you appreciate his talent. He has something different, he is a generational talent for sure. He is maturing with age and his age is still very young which is a scary prospect

I have to say, when you look at the win over Armagh and on today's evidence, it's fair to say Kerry are hitting form at the right time.
