Leeds Rhinos centre Caitlin Beavers speaking to BBC Sport:

"I think we know where the downfalls are and we are going to go in the changing rooms now and have a good talk about what we can improve on.

"I don't think we are too far out of it. We've come back from situations like this before so don't write us off."

Wembley was pretty empty when the Women's Challenge Cup final began. But the ground is beginning to fill up now - and the half-time hooter was greeted with a loud response.

Matty Smith's Saints will obviously be the happier after going in two tries up at the break.

But Leeds had the better of the opening salvos - and were unlucky to have that try chalked off before Saints had scored.

St Helens' Emily Rudge speaking to BBC Sport:

    "We've come out really strong.

"We've stuck to the game plan and it feels really good and I'm confident in the girls. Good start."

"It is such a tough game. Contact is really tough, we are feeling it but I'm loving it."

A fantastic 40 minutes for St Helens.

They have kept Leeds out and those tries from Faye Gaskin and Phoebe Hook give them a 10-point cushion.

The Rhinos will need a special second half to prise this trophy away from Saints.

If it's a yellow card in a men's Super League game, it's a yellow card in a women's Challenge Cup game.

I don't think there was any intent from Shona Hoyle, I think she's just been caught flat-footed but there is a stray arm, there is a bit of carelessness from Hoyle.

I think there's enough in it for a yellow for me.

A worrying moment for young St Helens full-back Beri Salihi as she is on the end of an unfortunate high shot from Shona Hoyle.

She goes off for an HIA.

Leeds breathe a huge sigh of relief!

Faye Gaskin's grubber kick comes back off the bottom of the post and just out of reach of Jodie Cunningham, who can't gather it.

Another try then and it could have been game over.

Great work from who else but Jodie Cunningham to force a turnover.

Saints in a good position again as they turn the screw before the break.

Leeds need to bring loads of energy.

They need to gain as many metres as they can, get on the front foot. Then a great kick and a great kick chase.

It's only a good kick if you've got the chase with it.

    Leeds Rhinos 0-10 St Helens

There is a serious case of deja vu here for Leeds.

Last year, they fell 16-0 down. They are one score away from a similar margin 12 months on.

Wembley is not an easy place to turn things around.

It's a fantastic set there from Saints but again it comes from a Leeds error.

Phoebe Hook has a big smile on her face. Second try, second attempt. At Wembley.

She has put her stamp on this.

Faye Gaskin is so unlucky not to convert Phoebe Hook's try.

From the touchline, Gaskin's kick looks set to go over but it falls just a yard short.

  14. try

TRY - Phoebe Hookpublished at 30 mins

    Leeds Rhinos 0-10 St Helens

The answer is simple - they can't.

St Helens get a repeat set and they take full advantage and they work the ball right to winger Phoebe Hook, who darts over close to the sideline.

A classic winger's score - I'm sure the watching Martin Offiah would approve of that finish.

A try in last year's final and one in this, Hook is staking her claim to be the Queen of Wembley.

St Helens have put together another couple of sets since that Faye Gaskin score.

This is pressure time for the Leeds defence - they must hold out.

    It's disappointing.

Leeds have gifted Saints the penalty which then gave them the field position to score the try.

But it's one try after how many minutes and we've still got the rest of the game to go.

  17. converted try

CONVERTED TRY - Faye Gaskinpublished at 26 mins

The try scorer picks herself up and calmly adds the two extras.

  18. try

TRY - Faye Gaskinpublished at 25 mins

    Leeds Rhinos 0-4 St Helens

Leeds give up a cheap penalty in their own half and they are ruthlessly punished.

As Armani Sharrock was saying, Saints don't need many chances.

Faye Gaskin darts through a gap less than 10 metres from the line and the Leeds defence can do nothing to stop her.

Great work from the Saints scrum-half.

It's whose going to stick in that battle for the longest.

Leeds are getting the better look at the ball, the better field position but not able to capitalise.

We saw in that semi-final [against York] that Saints only need one look at the line and they will score points. They won't be discouraged by this.

  20. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Leeds Rhinos 0-0 St Helens

Leeds captain Hanna Butcher does a poor kick on the final tackle and that is an easy giveaway.

Then Saints centre Erin Stott is swallowed up on the sixth at the other end, but well away from the tryline.

The game is being played for the majority in the middle third at the moment.
