    England 69-25 Northern Ireland

There are around three minutes to go in this one and England are making it look easy.

Ellie Cardwell just looks absolutely immense under the post and the Roses fire it down the court to her at such speed.

Northern Ireland are struggling but will look to matches against Uganda and Trinidad and Tobago to find their first win of the tournament.

    Michael Morrow
BBC Sport NI at The NEC

A bronze-rush in the Judo, this has become a really fruitful day for Northern Ireland.

Rhys McClenaghan's silver, two bronzes in the judo and boxer Clepson dos Santos is one win away from a medal after coming through a brutal encounter with heavy-handed Ghanaian Yaw Samuel Addo.

A win for Jude Gallagher against England's Niall Farrell in the featherweight division would cap a fine day for NI.

Another bronze medal for Northern Ireland in judo at Coventry Arena.

Nathon Burns wins by ippon in the men's -66kg bronze medal match after putting his Scottish opponent Alexander Short flat onto his back. The two judokas share a friendly hug on the mat after the customary bow.

Burns suffered a disqualification in an earlier round but has come back strongly to add to his country's medal tally.

BBC Sport Scotland at Sandwell Aquatics Centre

Duncan Scott, you are Scottish sporting royalty! Nobody has won more Commonwealth Games medals for his nation than this remarkable 25-year-old.

Shooter Alister Allan’s mark of 10, set between 1974 and 1994, has been matched. And it could yet be beaten tonight, never mind in the final days of this meet. Astonishing.

Allan, now 78, can console himself for now with the fact he has one more gold among his haul…

  19. netball

Netballpublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 1 August 2022

    England 53-22 Northern Ireland

One quarter to go in the netball and England have swapped and changed players throughout this game with each one doing a job for the Roses.

Jo Harten has got a t-shirt on and is playing the role of England's number one cheerleader on the bench. I don't think we'll see her on court today but she's definitely enjoying herself out there.

Ellie Cardwell and Helen Housby are back in the shooting circle and captain Net Metcalf is on at wing attack. Cardwell misses a rare shot in the early stages of the final 15 minutes.
