Now then here comes Scotland's Shannon Archer - she is the Scottish Champion in the uneven bars and will go for an individual medal in the event on Monday.

Oooh she goes to transfer from the bottom to the top bar and misses the transition - what a shame, that will be a full mark deducted. She scores 11.400 and that puts her in fifth for now.

Sophie Unwin and Georgia Holt will be getting a medal this time!

It will be at least a silver, after Scotland's Aileen McGlynn goes slower.

Holt looked shocked when that came up on the screen as she cooled down, riding a road bike around the podium. She immediately rode over to Unwin for another big hug!

You'd imagine Sophie Unwin and Georgia Holt have extra fire in their bellies today.

Roared on by the home crowd, the English team race round the required 1,000m distance in one minute 7.554 seconds.

    Into the lead!

St George's flags are being wafted in the velodrome. The folks flogging those in the capital today must be making a packet.

If you've been following the cycling, you'll remember that Sophie Unwin and Georgia Holt were controversially denied a bronze medal on Friday despite finishing third in the tandem B sprint.

That was because there were only four entries in that event, and therefore the rules state that only gold and silver medals are awarded.

They've received a huge cheer as they walk out onto the track.

Max Whitlock has got his grin on as he poses for selfie hunters outside the Birmingham 2022 megastore in Centenary Square.

But there is not doubt who most people want a pic with.

The giant animatronic bull that captured the imagination during Thursday's opening ceremony is still snorting and pawing. And the crowds are lapping it up.

A campaign has been launched to "save our bull" after it emerged the creators of the iconic metal statue plan to dismantle the bull after the Games.

Birmingham City Council Leader Ian Ward has promised to try to save the figurehead of the Games.

"I am delighted with how well the Opening Ceremony bull has been received by the people of Birmingham and beyond," he said.

"The Council is in discussion with partners to see what is possible for the future.”

Can he secure that elusive gold?

What a starts as he jousts with Richardson at the rail before holding him off to win by a matter of inches - eight thousandths of a second to be precise.
