Women's all-around final

We're into rotation two and 18-year-old Ondine Achampong, who led the way after rotation one having nailed her vault is up first on uneven bars.

It's a solid routine but not without a couple of deductions after a few untidy transitions and a slight wobble on the landing. It's still a good score, though - 13.250.

British champion on uneven bars Alice Kinsella is up next and she puts in a first class performance - the smile on her face as she sticks her landing says it all.

The judges are having a good think about this one but it's 13.700 and it's good enough for top spot... for now.

There is a lot of movement on the bike from Sam Dickinson, swerving from east to west, head up, head down but that's the way he likes to ride.

While Sam Dickinson enjoyed plenty of space in the water and is off on his 5km ride in solitude, Taylor Reid of New Zealand and Cameron Main of Scotland are on each other's tails and need to find 27 seconds from somewhere in order to catch up with their English rival.

Next up is the first race in the battle for gold.

Wales v Scotland. James Ball v Neil Fachie.

These two know each other well with Fachie pipping Ball to gold in the 1,000m time trial on Friday.

That was Fachie's fifth Commonwealth gold medal and another today will be an outright Scottish record.

Off we go... Ball leads the way and Fachie has a lot of work to do.

The Scot comes storming down the straight... it's not enough! Ball holds off the challenge and goes over 0.009 seconds ahead.

Wales end the third quarter on the ropes as wave after wave of England attacks is kept out by the nine men in black.

You have three athletes together in a chasing pack but I would say Scotland, New Zealand and South Africa work very hard to close up the gap on Sam Dickinson.

Neil Fachie and Lewis Stewart came from a long way back, but they had too much ground to make up.

Well executed from James Ball and Matt Rotherham. Fachie will have to win the next two races to defend his title!

Women's all-around final

Ouch. India's Ruthuja Nataraj falls flat on her face after struggling to get a decent grip at the start of her uneven-bar routine.

That will have hurt her pride as well as probably delivering some unwanted bruises. She takes a moment to compose herself and returns to the apparatus to record 10.000.

It's the lowest score so far but there was plenty to admire about the way she got up and carried on there.

If you've not seen this one before, here's what happens.

Each team consists of a visually-impaired rider and a sighted pilot who ride together on a tandem.

Five laps.

Best of three heats.

Wales' Alex Pope and pilot Lloyd Steffan go in the bronze-medal race against Australia's Beau Wootton and his pilot Zaccaria Luke.

Pope can't catch his opponent and is beaten to the line by 0.164 seconds. If he is going to claim bronze he will have to win the next two races.

Olivia Mathias fancies her chances of putting Wales in the silver medal position and moves past Scotland's Beth Potter and up into second. But it doesn't last long, however, as bronze medallist Potter has a bit more energy left in the legs and is now at the head of the chasing pack.

Sophie Coldwell has reached the blue carpet and can now handover to England team-mate Samuel Dickinson...

Australian Beau Wooton beats Welshman Alex Pope in the first race of the bronze medal ride.

Pope and pilot Steffan Lloyd will have to win the next if they want to earn a bronze medal.

After that horrific crash involving England's Matt Wells earlier, there has been a rejig of this afternoon's schedule in the velodrome.

The session is about to start with the resumption of the men's sprint quarter-finals.

The only heat still to be decided is the one between Australia's Matt Richardson and Malaysia's Shah Sahrom.

Richardson, who helped his nation win the team sprint, won the first race before Sahrom levelled.

So, to the decider it is...

Richardson leads the way, Sahrom makes his move, but the Aussie times his final sprint to perfection and wins.

Richardson will take on Scotland's Jack Carlin in the semi-finals. Trinidad and Tobago's Nicholas Paul - who won keirin gold yesterday -faces Australian team-mate Matthew Glaetzer in the other.

Sutton Coldfield has come out in force for this mixed relay event and Sophie Coldwell is lapping up the applause as she rides alone as the leader of this second leg.

Beth Potter secured Scotland's first medal of the Games with bronze in the women's event on day one and the 30-year-old is in the mix, along with Wales' Olivia Mathias, trying to hunt Coldwell down.

The action at the velodrome is back under way, after the morning session was curtailed slightly early due to that horrible crash involving England's Matt Walls.

Very shortly, Neil Fachie will begin his bid to become Scotland's most successful Commonwealth Games athlete.

He's up against Welshman James Ball, who he pipped to 1000m time trial gold on Friday.
