England men behind at the breakpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 1 August 2022

    Hockey: England 0-3 India

Not great from an England men perspective at the half-time hooter.

India have just been far more clinical and the hosts' 100% record in Pool B looks to be coming to a close.

After New Zealand's Grace Shearman and Wales' Megan Barker attempt a breakaway, Laura Kenny leads the rest of the pack in reeling them in.

But there's a crash on the bend! India's Meenakshi Meenakshi goes down as and she slides down the banking, New Zealand's Bryony Botha rides straight over her and goes head first over the handlebars.

Botha is eventually able to get up, and walk off, but a stretcher has been rushed over to Meenakshi.

The race has been brought to a halt.

    Women's uneven bars final

    Beth Tweddle
London 2012 bronze medallist on BBC TV

The difficulty behind Georgia-Mae Fenton's routine is what won it today. She has worked so hard on the dismount.

I don't think Georgia Godwin [Australia] would have expected to take another title on that piece but great to see another medal coming through for her.

In training I have seen him [Courtney Tulloch] do even better than that and that just comes with confidence but it was still an amazing job. Unfortunately for Joe he was just outside the medals but he will still be very, very pleased.

Is that game over already in the first half? Down a player India men counter brilliantly as Mandeep Singh spins brilliantly and sees a shot deflect in off a defender.

Mandeep Singh has two and India have three halfway through the second quarter.

Georgia-Mae Fenton has done enormously well to defend her title. She was instrumental in the team winning gold two days ago and she really has shown everybody what she's made of here today.

She didn't have the most difficult routine, but she did have the best execution score.
