That's Luke Greenbank in the bubble. Great shot

England have lanes four and five for the next final after storming swims from Luke Greenbank and Brodie Williams to top the times in the semis. Greenbank stormed to a bronze in this race at last year’s Olympics while Williams already has a silver medal in his locker from these Games in the 100m. Can either of them get on that top step?

    Adorable.

All the swimmers in the 100m breaststroke just came together at the end of the race for a group hug as the crowd cheered them on.

    They're nice these lot.

England looked to be cruising the third quarter, opening up their lead to at most 19 points but Uganda have crept back, though their deficit still stands at 16.

Jo Harten came on at the break and scored seven from nine, while Eleanor Cardwell still leads the Roses on 27 from 30.

Helen Housby is practicing her shooting during the start of the team talk at the quarter break - looks like she is coming back on for the final quarter.

    Perry the bull

It is not just the athletes who are bringing star power...

First, Perry the Bull is winched into the air over the infield as he does a kind of running man dance. It is a bit like the Beijing 2008 opening ceremony, but a whole lot less po-faced.

And then Geoff Wightman, one of the in-stadium commentary voices and the father and coach of new world 1500m champion Jake, is introduced to more cheers.

If you haven't seen the viral video of Geoff keeping it super professional as he calls his son home in Oregon - it is 43 seconds you won't regret...
