"We love you Giarnni!" comes the shout from the crowd after his first vault.
Everyone in the arena laughs and Regini-Moran gives the fan a wry smile.
Men's vault final
A very, very good first vault from Giarnni Regini-Moran scores him 14.800.
Men's discuss qualification
The first morning session at Birmingham 2022 has come to an end as the men's discuss qualification is wrapped up.
England's Lawrence Okoye's throw of 63.79m places him third overall in qualifying and second in Group B, behind Australia's Matthew Denny (64.63m).
Scotland's Nicholas Percy (60.68m) is also through from a Group A won by Jamaica's Traves Smikle (64.90m), as is Jersey's Zane Duquemin (58.87m).
The final takes place on Thursday.

That will put him into the lead without any doubt and probably give him his fourth gold of the games!
People will think now how on earth will I top that.
He makes it look effortless!
The execution was simply phenomenal.
Surely he can't be beaten?
Men's vault final
Oh my goodness, Jake Jarman didn't just maintain it, he topped it and then some.
Attempting one of the most difficult vaults possible, with more twists than a Dan Brown novel, Jarman scores a whopping 15.200 for that vault.
That's the highest score of these Games! And his average of 14.916 puts him top of the standings with four competitors to go.
A fourth gold for Jarman on the way? It will take something special to beat him.

Huge vaulting!
It's not too big of a deduction on such a difficult vault, so he has the margin of error on the others.
Men's vault final
A half-stumble on landing from Jake Jarman. The first vault scores 14.633 due to the level of difficulty.
He will be in the gold medal position if he maintains that sort of score...
South Africa 76-1 (Target 168) v England
England think they have another wicket as Taznim Brits is pinned lbw.
But she calls for a review and after much deliberation it looks like she got her bat to the ball first. Overturned and South Africa are still just one wicket down.
But they do need more than 10 runs per over to win.

I've seen Jake Jarman since he was younger and I've seen a real difference in him in this Games.
He's always had the tricks but at this competition he's really cleaned his routines up and that's when you start winning medals.

Jake Jarman's up. There are England flags everywhere!
Men's vault final
Australia's James Bacueti has posted the score to beat - 14.283 after two very solid efforts in this final.
Men's vault final
A mixed bag for Northern Ireland's Ewan McAteer. A fine first vault is followed by a very tough springboard double-front somersault and he stumbles forward badly on landing before regaining his composure.
A score of 13.750 puts him above Emil Barber - but the first vault was 14.200. The second one has likely cost him a medal chance.
Heptathlon - high jump
Here's confirmation of how things stand in the heptathlon after the 100m hurdles and high jump events in the opening session of athletics at Birmingham 2022:
It's wide open...
Men's vault final
Oh, a disappointing start for Emil Barber as the Welshman attempts a very difficult vault with three rotations and cannot nail the landing, stumbling back and sitting down before recovering.
It's the same with the second vault, again a tricky one with two-and-a-half twists and he again lands on his backside.
The disappointment is written all over his face. His score is 13.033, the average of his two vaults.
South Africa 64-1 (Target 168) v England
England finally make the breakthrough!
And it's a beauty from Sophie Ecclestone who bowls Anneke Bosch. The South African opener falls for 32 off 28 balls with her side now needing more than nine runs per over to win.

Ooft.
Arena Birmingham isn't even full yet as people continue to file in but England's Jake Jarman and Giarnni Regini-Moran are still given goosebump-inducing cheers as they're introduced to the crowd.
They're competing for vault gold, with Jarman already having all-around, floor and team gold in the bag on his Commonwealths debut.
Regini-Moran was in the team that won gold too and claimed floor bronze earlier in the Games.
Men's vault final
So, each of the eight finalists gets two vaults in this final - the vaults have to be different and then the average score is taken. It's all about difficulty and execution.
First up will be Wales' Emil Barber.
Women's 100m heats
St Lucia's Julien Alfred storms to victory in the final 100m heat, winning in 11.24 seconds.
And that race confirms Scotland's Alisha Rees and Wales' Hannah Brier both also progress to the semi-finals.
They join England's Daryll Neita, Asha Philip and Imani-Lara Lansiquot.
Aus 64-25 Wal
Australia have bossed the third quarter, just as they bossed the first two.
The top seeds have a 39-point lead over Wales in their Pool A match.
