Ojora was really unfortunate there. He was starting to come back to Zeller but he clattered into that final hurdle, and he won't go through as one of the qualifiers.

    Men’s 50m freestyle semis

Could be tough to qualify for the final from this semi with the second race having the potential to be absolutely rapid. It's so tight across the board at 50m anyway, there's barely anything between the swimmers.

You can barely see across the pool as they splash through with Tom Nowakowski of Australia taking the win.

Women's 3x3 wheelchair basketball gold medal match

Canada 14-5 Australia. There wasn't much to separate the two teams after the opening four minutes but it was the Canadians who were able to take the game away from Australia as the final wore on.

Stifling defence set the floor for their explosive offence to takeover down the stretch as Canada take home the gold medal.

    Women's gold medal match

A frantic start to the final here has seen Canada take a slender 2-1 lead over Australia into the timeout. Both teams have created great looks at the basket but have been unable to take advantage.

This timeout could be crucial as they look to settle down with just over six minutes to go.

Men's 110m hurdles round one second heat

Jamaica's Rasheed Broadbell produces a very impressive performance to win this second heat with a season best time of 13.16.

England's Joshua Zeller finishes second to go through but Tade Ojora clatters into the final hurdle and that scuppers his chance of finishing third.

Will it be some Sandwell salvation for Adam Peaty? After the shock of seeing him actually beaten in the 100m - where he finished fourth - the great one has admitted he is not at his best after injury. The 50m isn’t his favoured distance but he is the World Record holder.

If he’s not quite on song again then James Wilby, Sam Williamson or Ross Murdoch could all swoop in. Should be a cracker.

    Men's 50m breaststroke final (20:21 BST)

    Mark Foster
Former freestyle world swimming champion on BBC TV

At the shorter distance, 50m, Adam Peaty doesn't need that race endurance at the end so I think he is going to have enough speed at the start but if Sam Williamson who has a great start pressures him, he is in for a tough night.

We're running a little late so it's probably about 10 minutes until Adam Peaty gets in the water...

The Australian national anthem rings around the Sandwell Aquatics Centre once again as the women's 100m freestyle medal ceremony takes place.

It's become a very familiar tune here. Australia are already two golds and eight medals to the good tonight and we've still got five finals to go.

    Men's 63.5kg-67kg (welterweight) Round of 16

What an awful way to exit the competition!

Bitter disappointment for Northern Ireland's Eugene McKeever whose bout with Zambia's Stephen Zimba is stopped due to an injury sustained in the first round.

The fight was allowed to continue after an accidental clash of heads but McKeever sustained a nasty cut above the left eye.

The contest was stopped after two minutes and 26 seconds, with Zimba advancing to the quarter-finals.

Well Andrew Pozzi gets third place - he battled away for it in what has been a frustrating season for him.

He was going really well and didn't think he was going to get caught by Shane Brathwaite.

The ultimate splash-and-dash race, the apex sprinters of the swimming world will go for glory next. Just 22 seconds, blink-and-you’ll miss it stuff. England’s Lewis Burras was fastest in the heats but you could throw a decent sized picnic blanket over the whole field.
