She is attending every one of the 12 sessions of the athletics here at Alexander Stadium. Incredible commitment. But nothing out of the ordinary for Gill.

She is part of the British Athletics Supporters Club and has followed the action to Gold Coast 2018 and Glasgow 2014. She was at the World Championships in London in 2017. She was even at the IAAF World Cup in Cuba in 1992.

Tonight though, she has split loyalties. Does she want England's Andrew Pozzi or Hansle Parchment - who represents her other team Jamaica - to prevail in the 110m hurdles?

She doesn't know. She has until 21:44 BST to decide...

The Thistles have claimed one victory in the group stage, beating Barbados, while South Africa have won two.

At 21:00 BST defending champions England take on New Zealand at the NEC Arena in the Pool B decider, which will determine the line-ups for the semi-finals.

Whoever wins that one will take on Australia on Saturday, while the loser will face Jamaica.

Superb start by Owain Harris-Allan as he looks to use his height advantage against Papua New Guinea's Jamie Chang.

The Welshman looks confident as he dominates from range and keeps landing shots.

A full house on the judges' cards in both rounds.

Barring a disaster, a loss of concentration, he will reach the semi-finals.

Wales' Owain Harris-Allan breezes out of the locker room with the swagger of Richard Ashcroft walking down the street.

The 18-year-old is well in the zone.

If Harris-Allan beats Papua New Guinea's Jamie Chang, then he knows he will face Ghana's Abraham Mensah in the semi-finals.

Mensah edged the previous quarter-final against Sri Lanka's Rukmal Prasanna.
