James Willstrop and Declan James have a mini 4-2 lead in the deciding game against fellow English pair Darryl Selby and Adrian Waller.

But this still feels like anyone's match.

In our final match of the day in the badminton it's the women's doubles final and England's Lauren Smith and Chloe Birch are targeting gold against Malaysia's Koong Le Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan.

Smith has played 11 matches in this Commonwealth Games, losing out on the gold medal in the mixed doubles just this morning with partner Marcus Ellis.

Considering Smith had originally said she would not play in the women's doubles, instead choosing to focus on the mixed doubles, it's some effort.

What a response from Darryl Selby and Adrian Waller who take the second game of this all-England final against James Willstrop and Declan James 11-7.

We're now level again at 1-1 and go to a decider.

Aaaaand another one.

This is Australia's seventh Commonwealth hockey final. Now their total tally for those finals is 33 scored, two conceded. So dominant.

Back to the live action, world champions James Willstrop and Declan James are closing in on a gold medal as they continue to dominate against fellow England pair Darryl Selby and Adrian Waller.

They're up 5-2 in the second game having easily won the first 11-3.
