Earlier, England and Scotland's women's teams made the final of the 4x100m relay, while England's men also reached the final of their event

This is what they had to say:

Jona Efoloko: "It feels amazing especially in front of a home crowd honestly. When they said the name England and I could just hear the crowd shouting, it just gave me that extra motivation to go, to do it for these guys."

Harry Aikines-Aryeetey: "We've got such strength and depth and being able to call upon ourselves in such moments. This is amazing. Birmingham's brought us out here and they've raised our game, they've lifted us.

"You talk about experience, this is a different way of perceiving things because everyone's come out and supported us in such a way that we can't imagine, so thank you.

"The team that we've put together - I'm old, they're young, we've got the mature, we've got the experience, we're just here to do a job."

Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake: "I'm back, as I said it was a weird one and I'm glad I was able to recover from it and be part of the quartet.

"I feel like we've got more to go but the main objective was to around, get the stick around, get the big Q and then prepare for the final."

Ojie Edoburun: "I'm sure we can make adjustments. I feel like the only goal here is gold. We're at home and we're defending our turf and I have no doubts that we'll win. For me it's been a while since I've been in and everybody's welcomed me with open arms. I just wanted to make up for my disappointment the other day.

"Full focus on the 4x100m tomorrow and like I said - gold."
