    Marfa Ekimova has done it! She is Commonwealth champion.

    Cyprus' Anna Sokolova posted a score of 27.600 with the ribbon and finished 0.200 points behind Ekimova overall.

    What an achievement for the 17-year-old.

    She is the first gymnast from England to ever win gold in the rhythmic gymnastics.

    She posts a score of 27.100 and that gives her an overall total of 112.300 - that puts her top and guarantees her a medal with two gymnasts left to go. Now we wait to see what colour it will be?

    Great play from Malaysia's Syafiqa Haidar Afif Abdul Rahman and now it's the turn of team-mate Azlina Arshad. The 40-year-old shakes her head as that shot was not quite what she was expecting.

    'Come on, Sian! Come on Sian!' shout Jamie-Lea Winch and Natalie Chestney, before Arshad's next bowl is rather heavy-handed and splits the red bowls.
