Scotland centre Lisa Thomson, speaking to BBC Sport: "I think in the first half we overplayed. We let them get a rumble on and get in our way. That wasn't us today.
"We know that Italy have really good rugby players, we have been in tight battles with them for years.
"We got caught up playing their game and not our game. We need to be better next week.
