As mentioned earlier, crowds are also gathering on the oval at Macksville High School to watch the service.
We're starting to see our first television pictures of the congregation arriving ahead of the funeral.
Among the mourners are former Australia bowlers Shane Warne Glenn McGrath, as well as West Indies legend Brian Lara. Former Australia Test captain Ricky Ponting has also taken his seat inside the High School.

An order of service booklet is placed on a chair ahead of the funeral at Macksville High School Stadium.
A crowd of around 5,000 are also expected to watch the service as it is screened live on televisions on the school's nearby playing fields.
The community have been invited to join a public procession through Macksville at the conclusion of the main service.

Australia spinner Nathan Lyon is the latest member of the national team to arrive in Macksville ahead of the funeral service at 03:00 GMT (14:00 AEDT).
Lyon was playing for New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield match in which Hughes was batting for South Australia when he was hit fatally on the neck.

Phillip Hughes's death saw an overwhelming number of tributes from around the world.
Perhaps the most iconic were the millions left on Twitter by cricket fans and players, who posted photos of their own bats with the hashtag #putoutyourbats.
Tributes went beyond cricket, too. At the weekend, a number of sporting fixtures around the world paused to remember Hughes.

Phillip Hughes was the 408th man to play Test cricket for Australia.
He played 26 Tests matches - the last against England at Lord's in July 2013 - and scored three centuries.
A free-flowing, attacking, left-handed batsman, his unique style of play saw him make his Test debut at 20.
He became the youngest man to score centuries in both innings of a Test, achieving the feat against South Africa in Durban in 2009 - only his second appearance in the legendary 'Baggy Green'.
Hughes also had three spells playing county cricket in England, representing Middlesex, Hampshire and Worcestershire.

Less than a week ago, the 25-year-old batsman died after he was struck on the neck by a short-pitched ball playing for South Australia against New South Wales at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The former Test player had scored 63 runs when he was hit by a ball from bowler Sean Abbott. Hughes collapsed to the ground and never regained consciousness, dying in hospital two days' later.
