Mark Peters: Classic England! A walk in the park for Compton and Bairstow at 5 down before flaky collapse hands over initiative again. Typical.

Richard Barter: Ah, the ol' England Batting Collapse. Haven't seen that for some time...

Stuart Broad decides to throw the kitchen sink at Morne Morkel and it brings him a rather fortuitous four over fly slip. He and Jonny Bairstow won't hang around here, with Steven Finn the only batsman left in reserve.

Morkel fights fire with fire and bowls a bouncer which hits Bairstow on the shoulder. Ouch.

Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah has been provisionally banned after testing positive for a banned substance.

Yasir tested positive for chlortalidone, a diuretic, after the second ODI against England on 13 November.

Yasir was instrumental in Pakistan's Test series win over England, taking 15 wickets and being named man of the series. He is currently the world's third-ranked bowler in Test matches.

South Africa look a different team now they are not being ground into the Durban dirt by Nick Compton. Dale Steyn is thundering in and bowling a mixture of full balls and bouncers. England add five precious runs, mind.

Morne Morkel on a hat-trick. He roars in and delivers a perfect outswinger to Stuart Broad who has a little nibble but just about avoids edging behind. A bouncer follows, which the batsman ducks underneath.

South Africa have wrestled back some control. Remember, par at this ground is around 300 in the first innings of a Test match.

England falling like dominoes now - three wickets have gone in 12 balls.

Replays show the ball was just clipping leg stump, but it's enough to send Chris Woakes packing. Next.

It looks like Morne Morkel's got another one. He pins Chris Woakes in front first ball. The finger goes up, but Woakes reviews it.

A nothing shot from Moeen Ali who trudges off having scored... well, nothing.

He hangs his bat out to Morne Morkel, who is running the ball across the left-handers, and edges behind to the keeper. Not one of his better moments.

So, Moeen Ali joins Jonny Bairstow at the crease. England's batting is a long way from being done yet. With Chris Woakes still to come too, England's tail is about as short as that of a pug dog.

Bairstow, by the way, is playing very well. He nonchalantly flicks Dale Steyn through the off side for another four. There's talent there if he can cut out the loose shots.
