Thomas Harris: I suppose it's a freaky co-incidence we've started doing well in ODI/T20 now we've actually started picking attacking players.

  10. 'We have the firepower'published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February 2016

South Africa bowler Chris Morris on Sky Sports: "They played really well. Jos Buttler played out of his skin and there were some serious knocks. We will have to play really well. It is one of those days. We were a bit full to start with, with the ball. It is a good wicket and we will have to bat well.

"We need partnerships and a bit of patience. We have the firepower in our line-up. We have chased 400 before, so hopefully we can do it again."

"That's a big total - you'd win 19 out of 20 matches with that total. England's batting was excellent, right from the word go.

"Buttler was the icing on the cake with a superb hundred - he's just perfect for one-day cricket."

  12. Eng 399-9published at 50 overs

A yorker and Topley can't get a bat on it. England fall a run short of 400. We can't criticise them for that, though. It has been a cracking innings from the tourists.

  15. Eng 398-9published at 49.3 overs

Free hit time. David Willey looks for the beans over mid-wicket, but it goes straight to the fielder. They come back for a risky second, but AB de Villiers doesn't gather it cleanly.

  16. Eng 396-9published at 49.3 overs

Reece Topley is the last man but he is protected by Willey being on strike. De Lange does England a huge favour with a head-high full toss that runs away for four.

    Jordan c Duminy b De Lange 14 (Eng 391-9)

Gone this time, Marchant de Lange getting away with the sort of delivery that's just been sent for six. Chris Jordan doesn't get hold of it, hoiking it around to the hands of JP Duminy at cow corner.

    Eng 391-8published at 49.1 overs

Not a bad start to the last over as Jordan hits De Lange for six straight down the ground. It was almost caught at long-on by a South African fielder, who can't prevent himself crossing the boundary.
