    The contrast of one-day cricket was shown in the first two games of this series. In Bloemfontein, England racked up 399 on a pitch full of runs, and despite a battling century from Quinton de Kock, South Africa fell short on Duckworth-Lewis when the weather intervened.

    Then in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, a lower-scoring game saw the Proteas post 262, before Alex Hales' 99 and a characteristically astonishing Jos Buttler cameo set England on the way to another win.
