Dilshan c Hales b Willey 2 (SL 3-1)
Dilshan has made 13 T20 fifties but the 39-year-old has gone cheaply today, swinging it straight to the safe hands of Hales on the deep mid-wicket boundary.
David Willey will open the bowling to Chandimal, a place in the semi-finals against unbeaten New Zealand on Wednesday at stake.
Some pensive looking England supporters are in the crowd, their team are in a huddle on the outfield, Dilshan and Chandimal scamper out to begin the Sri Lanka reply.
Will Proudfoot: On that pitch, 170 is a great score! Let's hope Jordan has a good game!!
Mike Bell: Have to go out now, so can't listen to @bbctms, external All will be well, promise. Sri Lanka will finish 162 for 8. See you later chums!
Zaigzag: Amazing that Buttler was signed as a reserve batsmen for the IPL...
Joe Hunter: If I've learnt anything in this life, it's that you can't ever write off the Sri Lankans.
Sri Lanka have only made in excess of 170 once in 11 T20 matches this year and have lost six of their last eight. I am just reporting these facts, they are not meant to lead the witness.
England have lost four of their previous six T20 matches against the Sri Lankans, but the two they have won have both been big ones in the World T20, including a semi-final in 2010 en route to the title.

Nic: It got better towards the end, but it doesn't feel like enough... Hopefully we'll get 'good England' in the field
Nick Ball: Scenes from Jos Buttler again. Really got a game on now.
John Michael Poole: Just above par for us that total. Bowlers need to step up. Feel Rashid and Ali will be key.
Stuart Mitchell: Could have started the carnage an over or two earlier, but 72 off the last 5 is a very good finish. Well played Jos Buttler.
Thanks Stephan, I'm actually more of a scotch and lemonade man myself, with the occasional secret Baileys behind closed doors during the winter months. Well there was plenty going on in that innings wasn't there? 16 fours and six sixes, eight double figure overs, with 72 coming from the final five overs. There was even a wicket maiden in there as well.
So, England have 171 in the bank. If it's enough, they will be in the semis. If not, they'll have the pick of the duty free. Hoping that his order of port is delayed for a few more days is Jamie Lillywhite...
England batsman Jason Roy: "As a side we played well through the middle overs and let's hope that's a winning score. Some were gripping and some were skidding on but that is a good score for us to try and defend. We are going to go in with a clear mindset."
England171-4 from 20 overs
Not out batsmen: Buttler 66 from 37 with two sixes; Stokes 6 from one ball
Fall of wickets: 4-1 (Hales 0), 65-2 (Root 25), 88-3 (Roy 42), 162-4 (Morgan 22)
Bowling figures: Mathews 4-0-25-0, Herath 4-1-27-1, Vandersay 4-0-26-2, Siriwardana 1-0-9-0, Chameera 4-0-36-0, Thisara 2-0-27-0, Shanaka 1-0-15-0

"I think they'll be relatively happy but there is just a slight echo of the West Indies game when they scored 180."
Enough? They will have to bowl well. It's a target to defend, certainly, but England haven't bowled well in this tournament. Put simply, we're no nearer to knowing if England are going to reach the semis or not.

"That's Ben Stokes for you. It just issues a little statement when you walk off. But it's not an intimidating total."
Ben Stokes! One ball, six runs. A full toss biffed over cow corner. England have 171 to defend. They took 72 runs from the final five overs.
