It brings the 50 partnership up with Calum Haggett and extends the lead to 141. I wasn't expecting that.

  4. Postpublished at 18:35 British Summer Time 10 May 2016

  5. Postpublished at 18:30 British Summer Time 10 May 2016

    Kent 448-8 v Gloucestershire 337

Calum Haggett is playing like Brian Lara! Or Brian Guava if you were following our fruit and veg XI earlier.

He smashes Craig Miles for another couple of boundaries to move to 30, but it's just starting to rain.

They're staying on for the moment.

    Kent 437-8 v Gloucestershire 337

Calum Haggett helps Kent's lead up to 100 as he charges Jack Taylor and drives him over the top for four.

    Kent 426-8 v Gloucestershire 337

A familiar story today as drizzle starts to fall and the players go off.

Looks like some heavy showers are heading into Kent from The Channel - so that could be all for this afternoon.

  17. 'Worcestershire lost 46% of playing time'published at 17:16 British Summer Time 10 May 2016

    Glam 42-4 v Worcestershire 456-6 dec

BBC Radio Wales' Nick Webb reports from Cardiff:

"It's been Glamorgan's first fully washed-out day of Championship cricket since 2013, with downpours around midday followed by persistent drizzle.

"My colleague Dave Bradley calculates that Worcestershire have lost 46% of their scheduled playing time this season.

"The visitors will have their work cut out to claim 16 wickets on the final day even if the rain holds off.

"Meanwhile Glamorgan aren't commenting about a mysterious Tweet from South Africa paceman Dale Steyn enquiring about fishing facilities here, though they are searching for a second T20 Blast overseas player for the first half of the campaign."

Here is that 'mysterious' Tweet from Steyn.

BBC Sport's Stephan Shemilt has more from Old Trafford:

"There's movement in the middle. The ground staff are out there and the sopper is trundling up and down one of the covers.

"It looks like it is still raining, though. Surely we'll have no more play?"
