  1. Yorkshire 61-0 (6 overs) v Glamorganpublished at 19:26 British Summer Time 11 August 2016

Three dot balls start Shaun Tait's second over, but Alex Lees hits a four and then another off a no ball which gives Lees the free hit.

Tait then pitches it so short it bounces way over Lees' head for another free hit and the slower ball this time is dispatched for six at mid off.

Very expensive over for Glamorgan and the most runs the Welsh side have conceded in a power play this season.

  2. Yorkshire 39-1 (5 overs) v Glamorganpublished at 19:22 British Summer Time 11 August 2016

Absolutely stonking over there from Timm van der Gugten as only two runs and very few chances for any more come from it.

    WICKET Lyth 8 (c Rudolph b Tait)published at 19:15 British Summer Time 11 August 2016

Fourth over. Fourth bowler. And it works for Glamorgan

Shortly after Adam Lyth hits a four, Jacques Rudolph makes amends for his absolute dolly earlier in the innings, taking the catch off the bowling of Shaun Tait.

Just five runs from the fourth over as Yorkshire finish it on 37-1.

  4. Yorkshire 32-0 (3 overs) v Glamorganpublished at 19:12 British Summer Time 11 August 2016

After no runs off the first two balls of Michael Hogan's spell, David Willey blitzes a shorter ball for a massive maximum and then the next two for four.

It hasn't taken long for the England limited overs man to get his eye in and this is quite a start for Yorkshire.

  5. Yorkshire 18-0 (2 overs) v Glamorganpublished at 19:08 British Summer Time 11 August 2016

Another chance in the second over as Graham Wagg's bowl just, and I mean just, misses the outside edge of David Willey's bat.

And once again there's a boundary after a chance, with Willey sending the next two balls, which were both slightly too full, for four.

Expensive 11 runs from the over.

  6. Yorkshire 7-0 (1 over) v Glamorganpublished at 19:05 British Summer Time 11 August 2016

We're under way at the SSE Swalec Stadium and Timm van der Gugten opens the bowling for Glamorgan, but his first ball to Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth is a wide.

He recovers from that slight embarrassment, but Jacques Rudolph drops the simplest of catches to take Lyth out for a duck, and the batsman punishes him with a four from the next ball, the final of the over.

As I said, Yorkshire won the toss and have chosen to bat and here's a picture to prove that the toss actually happened.

But anyway, this game will be very close to call.

Yorkshire's form going into this match has been absolutely superb as I mentioned before, while Glamorgan finished second in their group but won one of their last five.

The teams meet for the first time in T20 cricket in Cardiff in the last of the Blast quarter-finals.

Well what about Glamorgan, I hear you ask?

They have Colin Ingram in their ranks, the swashbuckling, big-hitting and any other adjective you want to use for a man that can smash a lot of boundaries South African. Rolls off the tongue.

He stands on the verge of T20 Blast history, having hit a 29 sixes in 13 matches so far, six more than any other player this campaign.

I love a good celebration shot and Mark Wood frenetically wheeling away for Durham during their victory against Gloucestershire last night does the business for me.

Yorkshire and Glamorgan are bidding to join Wood's Jets and the two other teams already confirmed for Edgbaston on Saturday, 20 August - Northants and Nottinghamshire.

The Tykes will have to do without England's Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root, but spinner Adil Rashid will provide some recent international experience for tonight's match.

    Glamorgan v Yorkshire (19:00 BST)

Well, day one of England's Test against Pakistan is over so attention now turns to Cardiff for what is surely one of the biggest matches for Glamorgan since 2004.

Big claim, but the Welsh side are bidding to reach T20 Finals Day for the first time in 12 long years.

Hoping to block their path to Edgbaston will be a Yorkshire side that won six of their last seven group matches to reach tonight's quarter-final.

The Tykes have won the toss and have chosen to bat first.

Tonight promises to be a big one.
