Connell just dug it in a little bit shorter, she's seen Tammy coming down and she didn't execute the shot as she'd liked. West Indies have the wicket they wanted.

    Beaumont c King b Connell 4 (Eng 15-1)

That's lovely from Beaumont, leaning forward and driving through the covers. She deserved more than two for that.

But that's all she'll be getting this afternoon - she then mis-times a pull which loops up to Stacy-Ann at square leg who pouches an easy catch.

Deandra Dottin can be quite a deceptive bowler as her run-up isn't that fast, but she can put the ball through at a decent pace. She's the sort of player who can change the game with ball or bat.

  4. Eng 13-0published at 4 overs

Dottin again and for the first time in this series we're seeing the ball get up around the batter's heads - Beaumont goes for the hook and top-edges towards fine leg but it bounces well before the fielder.

Dottin then gives away consecutive wides on both sides of the wicket but we know what damage she can do when she gets her radar right.

I think it was too tight for Lauren Winfield there, she couldn't get her hands through it and just guided it to first slip. Catchable height, not travelling too far, but it looks like it went straight through her legs.

  6. dropped catch

Winfield dropped on threepublished at 3rd over

    Eng 10-0

That's an absolute dolly - Winfield edges Connell to West Indies skipper Stafanie Taylor at first slip who somehow lets it through her fingers. Slip catches don't come much more straightforward.

Winfied takes full advantage of her reprieve by pulling the first boundary through mid-wicket.

Dottin's not in the Shane Watson stakes when it comes to walking slowly back to her mark, but she comes pretty close. You get the feeling the bus waits for Dottin, not the other way round.

That's good from Tammy, trying to put Dottin off her length - she's showing a bit of intent and making the bowler think.

  9. Eng 4-0published at 2 overs

Deandra Dottin, who destroyed England on Monday by taking three wickets in an over and claimed 4-19 overall, must be feeling good as she charges in.

Winfield gets another single as she edges down to third man again. A leg bye and another single to Winfield gives the tourists three off that over.

  10. Eng 1-0published at 1 over

Shamilia Connell takes the ball first for the Windies and straight away plenty of bounce and carry as Lauren Winfield lets the first ball go. A good sign

Winfield gets the scoreboard ticking over with a thick edge to third man off the third ball. Tammy Beaumont then misses as she faces for the first time but sees out the rest of the over with no drama.

Neither side has reached 150 in four attempts so far in this series but the pitch at the Trelawny Stadium was slow and low, making batting a very attritional occupation.

Will run-scoring at Sabina Park be any easier? Tammy Beaumont and Lauren Winfield are out in the middle to open for England and we're almost ready to go...

A reminder of what's happened so far:

Defending 149 on a slow surface in match one, England won by five runs after Katherine Brunt (3-24) took two wickets in two overs to bowl West Indies out for 144.

In match two on Monday, England were coasting at 107-4, chasing 149, before Nat Sciver holed out off Afy Fletcher.

Deandra Dottin took three wickets in an over, then trapped Amy Jones lbw to bowl out England for 110.

West Indies had earlier scrapped to 148, captain Stafanie Taylor making 56 and Alex Hartley taking 4-31.

How disappointing is it that Anya Shrubsole still isn't fit?

She's been bowling very well for England in the last year to 18 months, but they can't complain too much when they've got Jenny Gunn coming in who offers a lot with the ball, with the bat and in the field. I'm sure they'll be looking to get Anya fit for the last couple of games.

  16. Pitch reportpublished at 15:22

The pitch looks much better than what we saw at Trelawny, where there wasn't any grass on it at all. There are a few cracks, but I don't think they'll open up that much, so possibly a little bit of turn but I think it'll be pretty true.

  17. Captain's viewpublished at 15:20

West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor on TMS: "I wouldn't say I'm not happy, but I would have batted first. The pitch is consistent, it's not like Trelawny, and even batting last we should be able to get something out of it. So I'm not too disappointed in bowling first. We're very confident after the last game, our bowlers came through for us."

  18. Postpublished at 15:17

Do the batters have something to prove after Monday's collapse?

England captain Heather Knight on TMS: "It was disappointing to finish the game like that from a really strong position, so we'll look to stay on top. There's a little bit more on these games with ICC Women's Championship points at stake.

  19. Captain's viewpublished at 15:15

England captain Heather Knight on TMS: "After listening to Lydia Greenway's pitch report, I thought we'd have a bat! There's a little bit more grass on the pitch, it looks like the ball might come onto the bat a little bit better, though there should still be a bit of turn in it.

"Anya Shrubsole's still not fit, so Jenny Gunn comes in - she's a world-class player with experience, and it strengthens our fielding and batting as well."
