  1. Eng 287-6published at 43.5 overs

Of all the times to produce a bad bit of fielding!

Hassan Ali goes down to do the long barrier as Tom Curran whips through the leg side, and he makes a right meal of it. The ball flies through his hands, his legs, and into the boundary rope. Sarfaraz looks absolutely furious.

That is a tremendous strike. He generated the pace with his hand speed.

  3. Eng 283-6published at 43.4 overs

    Need 58 from 38 balls

    What a shot that is!

It's short, so short from Junaid Khan, and Tom Curran is expecting it. He hangs back and hoicks it on the pull for four through the leg side.

Ben Stokes just can't get the strike.

  5. Eng 279-6published at 43.3 overs

A full toss from Junaid, but Ben Stokes can't make it count, and he has to settle for one.

  6. Eng 278-6published at 43.2 overs

    Need 63 from 41 balls

In the air from Tom Curran - and it's just short of the man at backward point.

They scramble a single, and Ben Stokes is on strike...

    Here's Junaid Khan...

  8. Eng 276-6published at 43 overs

Need 65 runs from 42 balls

In all the palava, Ben Stokes and Tom Curran work themselves a couple of singles.

  9. Not outpublished at 42.3 overs

    Right. Let's reassess that.

There was a shy at the stumps from cover, Tom Curran had made his ground and ran an overthrow. Ben Stokes called him through for a second, and Sarfaraz, needing to pull the stump out of the ground with the bails already off from the first overthrow, ends up knocking it with his glove.

  10. Umpire reviewpublished at 42.2 overs

    What is going on?!

I think we're going to have to review two run-outs at the same end, for the same batsman...

  11. Eng 271-6published at 42.1 overs

    Need 70 runs to win

That is a horror ball from Mohammad Hasnain first up, a big, inviting full toss, and it is furiously pumped away by Tom Curran for four.

    Stokes has leathered that.

  13. 6 runs

    Eng 267-6published at 42 overs

Need 74 runs from 48 balls

And the last ball of the over ends up in the crowd!

A fine strike from Ben Stokes, taking a dragged down ball and smashing it over mid-wicket and into the hands of one of the spectators.

  14. Eng 261-6published at 41.4 overs

Tom Curran leans back and drives a single to get Ben Stokes on strike...

This is very good from Pakistan because not only are they bowling dot balls but they are hustling through and increasing the pressure.

  16. Eng 260-6published at 41.3 overs

    Dot. Dot. Dot.

  18. Eng 260-6published at 41 overs

    Target 341

Imad Wasim, into his final over, lets Ben Stokes take a single then unfurls a series of dot balls at Tom Curran.

In fact, he's going to let him take a single off the final ball of the over, which means Curran will keep the strike. Clever. Imad finishes with 2-62 from his 10 overs.
