If Virat had edged that one while the man in the white cap was walking in front of the sightscreen, good luck to the stewards down that end.

Syed: I like the skill & momentum of Rohit. Doesn't take pressure, softly hits the ball.

    Kohli 0, Rohit 75

Virat Kohli is in, survives the first ball before waving his bat at the man who walked right across the sightscreen as that ball was bowled...

That's a soft dismissal, he'd played ever so well.

Ah, the old 'distract them by getting a warning for running on the pitch' and then strike next ball ploy. Works a charm.

Pakistan have the elusive breakthrough, the ball maybe sticks in the pitch a bit and KL Rahul can only chip it straight to the fielder at mid off.

Wahab has just been given a warning for landing on the centre of the pitch and Sarfaraz has thrown his arms in the air and looked at his dressing room, as if to say 'what's going on'.

Wahab Riaz is now warned by the umpire for running on the pitch. We saw Mohammad Amir get ticked off earlier as well. Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed looks bedraggled.

  8. Ind 136-0published at 23.3 overs

    Rahul 57, Rohit 75

Wahab Riaz does come back in for some pace but he can only bounce down a wide. Rohit is past the 250 mark for runs in this World Cup now.

Virat Kohli is in next, by the way...

I'm surprised Sarfaraz hasn't turned to Mohammad Amir - the only way they are going to get back into this game is if they take wickets.

KL Rahul with another fine shot, an 87m six, hit inside out over long off and into the stands. Eleven off Mohammad Hafeez's first over.

If you're just waking up on this Sunday morning we are partly jealous, but you have missed out on a festival of cricket so far. India are flying, Pakistan look devoid of ideas already to be honest.

Rohit Sharma clubs a massive straight drive for four, belting shot.

Just a passing thought, during this outstanding display of cricket. Would it not be excellent if there was just one stadium in England which rivalled the size of the MCG and other mighty grounds across the world to create a truly immense crowd and atmosphere? I would love this to be a 80,000 attendance, rather than a 22,000.

KL Rahul didn't get all of that, it limped over the boundary in the end. It was a poor ball though. India could get a monster total on this pitch.
