It's starting to get to the stage where you're looking at how you the gaps in your team. Southern Brave still need a wicketkeeper for example. If they're going to get a good one you'd think it would have to be soon.

Birmingham Phoenix look light to me at the moment. Welsh Fire too, they don't have a spinner at the moment.

I agree with Southern Brave and I think Trent Rockets too. D'Arcy Short is a great player.

Southern Brave are doing well with Jofra Archer, Russell and David Warner. It's backed up by consistent players in the domestic game with Liam Dawson and James Vince and they have local knowledge.

I'm obsessed with Jos Buttler explaining how the draft works to Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid while they drink some sort of... energy drink, I think?

    Heroes, all of them.

Bopara bashed Livingstone for two sixes in the penultimate over of Lancs and Essex's T20 quarter-final in the summer.

It seems it's still a little sore.

It's absolutely brilliant for this game that the homegrown players are being selected. It happens in the IPL and the Big Bash so to get the English players getting picked up for big prices is amazing.

The most exciting thing about this is the domestic players getting the opportunities. You look at Ravi Bopara, he held his own at T20 Finals Day, he's gone above his reserve. Lewis Gregory is another one. It's good for English cricket.
