  1. Goodnightpublished at 19:11 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

That concludes our coverage of today's action. We'll be back from 10:55 BST tomorrow.

  2. Close of play at Cardiffpublished at 19:08 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Glam 150-9 v Lancs 173

On a day of no delays this is an absolute disgrace that play has gone on past 7pm.

When are the ECB ever going to get a hold on over rates?

    Lancashire's day just about.

They were 122-7 before Tom Bailey and Luke Wood took them to 173 and a number to work with.

Glamorgan were 74-1 and going so well in reply but wickets started to fall.

Marnus Labuschagne made 44 - his previous highest score of the summer had been just 12.

But in tricky conditions, Lancashire look likely to sneak a first-innings lead on the morrow.

  3. Postpublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Glam 144-8 v Lancs 173

Another one for Lancashire with two overs left in the day.

James Weighell is caught behind off Luke Wood and Glamorgan look to be falling short on first innings.

  4. Close of play at Tauntonpublished at 18:54 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Somerset 360 v Hampshire

I don't think the Hampshire openers will be disappointed with this.

Bad light has meant they were unable to begin their reply tonight, on a day that undeniably belonged to Lewis Gregory.

  5. Close of play at New Roadpublished at 18:51 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Worcs 131-4 v Durham 140-4

Those two late wickets have taken the shine off a bit for Durham, but there's no denying they've had a really excellent day.

They'll begin day two already nine runs ahead and with six wickets in hand.

  6. Postpublished at 18:46 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Glam 133-7 v Lancs 173

A second wicket of the day for Saqib Mahmood and now Lancashire are into the lower order still with a useful little lead.

Can Glamorgan cobble together a few more to make this a one-innings shoot out?

    Four overs remain in Cardiff.

  7. Postpublished at 18:41 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Worcs 131 v Durham 134-4

Durham have just gone past Worcestershire's 131, but have just lost two wickets in the space of one Josh Tongue over.

First Scott Borthwick departed for 42, and then Matthew Potts was removed for a second-ball duck.

We're inside the final few deliveries at New Road.

  8. Bad light stops play at Tauntonpublished at 18:39 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Somerset 360 v Hampshire

Bad light has delayed the start of Hampshire's reply at Taunton.

  9. Postpublished at 18:34 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Glam 127-6 v Lancs 173

Still six overs to go at Cardiff and time for Lancashire to chip away a little more.

Danny Lamb trapped Marnus Labuschagne lbw for 44 but the home side are trying to edge closer.

  10. Close of play at Grace Roadpublished at 18:32 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Leics 357-5 v Glos

A great day for Leicestershire, following up their fine run-chase against Middlesex last Sunday.

Marcus Harris with 148 leading their progress after they won the toss with fifties from Colin Ackermann and Lewis Hill.

Frustration for Gloucestershire, trying to bounce back from defeat at Surrey last week and keep their quest for the top-two on course.

  11. Close of play at Derbypublished at 18:29 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Derbys v Warks 272-9

From 252-6, a few late wickets have just handed Derbyshire a bit more impetus against Warwickshire.

For the visitors, Sam Hain (77) and Michael Burgess (71) impressed most with the bat.

  12. wicket

Somerset all out for 360published at 18:27 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Somerset 360 v Hampshire

After clubbing a couple of huge sixes, Marchant de Lange departs for 17 and Somerset's innings is done.

The day belongs to Lewis Gregory (107) and Roelef van der Merwe (88), make no mistake about that.

Hampshire's openers face a tricky little spell to survive before stumps tonight.

  13. Close of play at Headingleypublished at 18:26 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Yorks v Sussex 267-5

Ben Brown has rescued Sussex from 68-4 with a true captain's innings.

His first century of the summer has turned the day around and walks off 126 not out.

Debutant Danial Ibrahim with him on 37.

The visitors' day having been sent in.

  14. Close of play at Chelmsfordpublished at 18:26 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Essex v Notts 248-6

    That's stumps at Chelmsford.

It's been a tale of three half-centuries for Nottinghamshire, via Joe Clarke, Lyndon James and Steven Mullaney.

But, unlike James and Mullaney, can Clarke go on tomorrow?

  15. Close of play at Canterburypublished at 18:24 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Kent v Northants 362-5

Emilio Gay's maiden first-class hundred led rattling Northants progress for the first half of the day.

His 101 and 66 from Ricardo Vasconcelos sent the visitors screeching along at five-an-over in the first session.

Luke Procter's 81 then ensured that excellent start wasn't wasted.

  16. Postpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Derbys v Warks 269-9

    And another!

Liam Norwell is caught and bowled by Luis Reece and it's starting to look more like Derbyshire's day now.

  17. Postpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Derbys v Warks 264-8

We're into the final three overs at Derby, where Danny Briggs has become the latest Warwickshire batsman to be dismissed.

The Bears are on 264-8 having been put in. Fairly even, you'd say?

  18. 350 up for Northamptonshirepublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Kent v Northants 353-5

Tom Taylor and Saif Zaib have steadied Northants after losing 3-4 to the new ball.

A fourth batting point is secured and if they can get through to the close, it will be a really good day for the visitors after winning the toss.

  19. 50 runs

50 for Joe Clarkepublished at 18:11 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Essex v Notts 244-6

We should've mentioned earlier that, when Tom Moores was dismissed, Joe Clarke was able to resume having earlier retired hurt following a blow to his forearm.

And, since returning, he's reached his half-century too.

  20. 50 runs

for Alex Lees... and outpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Worcs 131 v Durham 117-2

Durham have made really excellent progress in response to Worcestershire's 131 and at the heart of that has been Alex Lees.

He brings up his half-century, but then departs soon after, dismissed by Ross Whiteley for 52.
