We'll end on the highlight of the game, which was when Laura Kimmince whacked Sarah Glenn for five consecutive fours.

See you in 30 minutes or so.

Whatever the format, teams can get in the habit of winning or losing. Northern Superchargers looked fantastic today, Oval Invincibles look to have an excellent side, as do London Spirit.

But I do think any team can beat anyone else in this competition and it's tough to call this early who will be in the final.

This was probably the key wicket for the Superchargers.

The Superchargers were brilliant with the bat. India's Jemimah Rodrigues and Australia's Laura Kimmince were excellent and that's why you pay for your overseas stars.

That is actually a pretty convincing victory in the end for the Northern Superchargers over the Trent Rockets.

The hosts were never really in the chase.

  6. Superchargers win by 27 runspublished at 17:39 British Summer Time 26 July 2021

A comfortable win in the end for the Northern Superchargers. It was always going to be difficult to chase their total and their use of spin was probably the difference. Katherine Brunt finishes 43 not out from 36 balls in the Rockets 122-7.

  7. Rockets 121-7published at 3 balls left

Katherine Brunt with a heave down the ground but there's a fielder there A bit of a tame finish to this.

We knew it was a 'why not?' review. Missing by a long way in the end.

An lb appeal for Katie Levick after Abi Freeborn is struck on the arm attempting a sweep. It's not out on review.

Katherine Brunt is in danger of being left high and dry by the rest of her team here.

Trent Rockets have perhaps made a bit of a hash of a chase that was tough but gettable on this pitch. Is that fair?

I think Laura Kimmince's 31 off 13 balls in the first innings is where this game will prove to be won for the Superchargers.

  20. Rockets 109-6published at 15 balls left

Liz Russell turns the screw, conceding just four runs, and things are petering out a little for the Trent Rockets now. Off the final ball of Russell's over Katherine Brunt ends up slumped on the pitch and in an almighty tangle attempting to give herself room to cut the ball.
