That was not as short as Sammy-Jo Johnson thought and it was the wrong length to pull it. Hayley Matthews finishes with a wicket maiden which you don't see very often in The Hundred.

Well, Sammy-Jo Johnson should have reviewed that - the technology reckons it was missing the stumps.
Hayley Matthews, meanwhile, is going to bowl a set of 10.
Katherine Brunt joins her captain and fiancee at the crease.

Sammy-Jo Johnson goes for a duck!
The Australian was struggling to time anything from Hayley Matthews and ends up getting pinned right in front of her stumps. She doesn't even think about the review, instead tucking her bat under her arm and walking off.
Here's Hayley Matthews.

I think Rachel Priest went for the right option going with the spin. But she didn't quite just execute it properly. The intent was right to try to put the pressure on Welsh Fire, who needed a wicket to get themselves in the game.
It's a big wicket because Priest can really hit the ball hard. I think Trent Rockets just need to bat smart and wait for the bad balls and try to rotate the strike to better bowling.

Piepa Cleary produces a metronomic first three balls, before Nat Sciver hops onto the back foot and hammers a short ball away for four.
Cleary almost gets her revenge with a delivery that rips right through Sciver but, somehow, takes a bit of bat to dribble off to the boundary rope.

Bowled!
Rachel Priest goes for another booming sweep, misses, and gets bowled around her legs. That's a good comeback from Bryony Smith to end her first set of five.
Four more, as Rachel Priest leans back and cuts the ball away to the ropes.

From the point of view of Trent Rockets, if I was their coach, I'd tell them to go out and bash a quick 30 or 40 runs and kill the game rather than ambling up to the total slowly. That's the perfect start for them. Real intent.

Welsh Fire will start with Bryony Smith...
...oh, and Rachel Priest sweeps the living daylights out of her first ball to smack it for four.
Right, here come the players.
Cheers Tim.
There was some pretty average batting from Welsh Fire in that but some excellent fielding from Trent Rockets, especially this grab from skipper Nat Sciver.
And here to guide you through the Trent Rockets chase is Amy Lofthouse.
Can Rachel Priest go clear of Danni Wyatt this afternoon?

A big ask for Welsh Fire to defend that, particularly if Rachel Priest gets going at the top of the order for Trent Rockets.
It wasn't the most fluent innings from Hayley Matthews today, but this was a glorious six.
