They're almost playing hit-and-run cricket now. The Superchargers haven't made a good throw yet so they know they can get away with it.

  2. Brave 66-3published at 26 balls left

    23 runs needed

More excellent running from Southern Brave, nabbing a single from every Katie Levick Delivery, before Dunkley takes advantage of a wider delivery to hammer a sweep away for four. This is some knock...

It looks like the same panic that overcame Southern Brave early in their innings has now backfired onto the Superchargers.

  4. Brave 60-3published at 29 balls left

Katie Levick returns and Maia Bouchier works her for a single that should never have been there...

    Pressure, pressure, pressure.

  6. Brave 59-3published at 30 balls left

    30 runs needed

Sophia Dunkley has managed to take this chase down to a run a ball.

  7. Brave 58-3published at 31 balls left

That is superb running for two runs...

...and then a horrid misfield at long-on gives Sophia Dunkley another four! This is an expensive set of five from Rachel Slater, although her fielder hasn't helped her there...

Incredible bit of timing from Dunkley. She's hit some unbelievable shots so far, and there's pressure on the bowler straight away now.

  9. Brave 52-3published at 33 balls left

That's a shot and a half from Sophia Dunkley, nailing a hoick over the leg side for four.

And again! This one is more of a thick edge but it's beaten the fielder, Dunkley's commitment to the shot getting plenty of bat on ball, and it's back-to-back fours for the England batter.

The sun's out! We've only been waiting five hours.

  11. Brave 44-3published at 35 balls left

    45 runs needed

    The sun is out!

Linsey Smith returns to the attack and her penultimate ball is carted over Maia Bouchier's shoulder and down to the fine leg boundary. A very welcome four for the Brave.

I think we're in for a very close finish.

It was, admittedly, not an ideal start to the chase for Southern Brave.

  14. Brave 38-3published at 40 balls left

    51 runs needed

A single ends the spell of five.

With this target, they need to minimise dot balls and run hard between the wickets and that's what Dunkley is doing so well.

  16. Brave 36-3published at 42 balls left

Brilliant running from the Brave - Sophia Dunkley is so, so quick on her feet.

Maia Bouchier swings at a slower delivery, not quite connecting, but getting enough behind the ball to add a couple to the total.

You feel already that Sophia Dunkley has got to get a fair chunk of these runs.

  19. Brave 31-3published at 45 balls left

    58 runs needed

Kalea Moore finishes her 15-ball spell with figures of 2-9. Superb stuff.

So often you see the pressure that dot balls can bring. Stafanie Taylor was getting frustrated, she couldn't rotate the strike and get Dunkley up the other end.
