How's that not gone to a fielder?!

Smriti Mandhana makes a mess of a sweep, sending a top edge high into the air, and there's no-one underneath it! People are running in but it's almost in slow motion, and that's two lives they've given Smriti Mandhana. Not a good idea.

Danni Wyatt skips forwards and lofts Hayley Matthews over the head of Piepa Cleary and over the ropes for six.

That no ball call was so late that Sophia Dunkley had already come charging out of the tunnel to bat! She looked so confused.

Danni Wyatt, meanwhile, ignores the chaos and smacks a four through the covers off the previously miserly Hayley Matthews. The fielder doesn't make a great effort of diving for the ball, it has to be said.

Smriti Mandhana celebrates her repreive with a big aerial drive that beats the leaping fielder and goes merrily racing away for four.

Ouch. Keep your foot behind the line!

I am a little bit speechless. It is just really poor cricket. It is criminal to overstep in this format. There was the dropped catch and now a no ball. Mandhana - it is your day.

Of course Smriti Mandhana cracks the free hit for four. Of course she does. And she's hit it straight past the fielder at mid-off who, a second ago, thought she had caught her.

That's a disastrous couple of minutes for Southern Brave.
