It was swirling in the air, it wasn't the easiest catch. She was sliding along like an eight-year-old at a wedding.

Down!
Sophia Dunkley advances to Dane van Niekerk and goes back down the ground where Jo Gardner, running to her right, slides and drops the ball! That was tough but she'd have backed herself to cling on to that.

Brilliant from Dunkley, getting back to back boundaries. She's placed it perfectly between the fielders both times.
That is well placed from Sophia Dunkley, aiming a hoick across the line and beating two fielders down in the deep to pick up four. What a bit of timing that is!
Oh! Two fielders converge down at deep mid-wicket to try and cut off another good swipe from Dunkley and Fran Wilson ends up diving over the ball, rather than stopping it, to gift the Brave another four.

Oh, and she also loves Vin Diesel.

Shabnim Ismail is very fast and hostile. She's a great character, a real softie off the pitch. But it's not nice to face as a batter!
Taylor 9, Dunkley 21
Hello! That's sharp, 75mph from Shabnim Ismail as she sees Sophia Dunkley advancing, and whips a short ball past her nose.
Stafanie Taylor tries to take her on with a swipe down the ground and is lucky that it just evades the two advancing fielders.
The magnificent Shabnim Ismail is back.
Alice Capsey continues her frankly excellent tournament with another miserly set of five.
The umpire taps his watch, and we're into strategic time-out territory.
Make that four more to end the over!
Just a touch too full from Mady Villiers, and Sophia Dunkley darts down to meet it and slap it past mid-off.

What a shot! Sophia Dunkley used to panic after facing a few dot balls, but she's learned to trust herself more and she knows she will pick up boundaries if she stays in.
Four!
That's a gorgeous shot from Sophia Dunkley, just the slightest of shuffles forward and driving gloriously down the ground to beat a diving Shabnim Ismail.

The pitch looks a bit slow. I think the spinners will play a big part in this game. No one's managed to find the boundary with ease yet.
Dane van Niekerk comes back and gets worked for a smattering of singles by Sophia Dunkley and Stafanie Taylor.

Stafanie Taylor has a very good habit of not getting out. She averages 70 in the tournament and has been not out five times.
Stafanie Taylor gets her hands in a tangle but the resulting outside edge drops just short of an advancing fielder.
An excellent set of five from Mady Villiers costs just one run.

I did indeed. There's a group of lads dressed up as cows down there and they wanted a photo. They greeted Danni Wyatt's six with some moos.
