A bit of news from the IPL, where Rajasthan Royal have announced Jofra Archer (injury) and Jos Buttler will not be playing in the remainder of the tournament from 19 September.
Royals have, however, signed New Zealand's Glenn Phillips, who almost scored a century in The Hundred for Welsh Fire the other evening.

Van Niekerk and Wilson are both very good players of spin. This is a good partnership for Invincibles to be have facing Amanda-Jade Wellington.
Ah! Let's hope it's just light rain and they stay on! We're nearly halfway through this innings.
Wellington continues for Brave but Wilson and Van Niekerk are happy to nudge it about and find the singles.
The pressure builds as Wilson then comes advancing down the track and miscues the ball just over the fielder at mid-off. Good intent but the execution isn't quite there.

It’s raining…
I will leave my thoughts on Love Island out of this live text. For now.
Another change in the bowling as Stafanie Taylor - the West Indies captain - is introduced to the attack. Her floaty deliveries concede six runs.
Invincibles need to get a move on here.

Commotion behind one of the stands at Lord’s. Love Island’s Hugo Hammond - an England disability international cricketer - is here.

The crowd is really starting to build up now at Lord's! I'm yet to see any ridiculous fancy dress, though.
More spin as Fi Morris turns her arm for the first time. The Invincibles batters miss out on a couple of wayward balls down the leg side which should really be sent to the boundary.
But the last ball of the set is delightfully dabbed over point By Wilson for four.

Fran Wilson loves the sweep shot, she plays it so well. We'll see plenty of that from her against the spinners.
Time for the spin of Amanda-Jade Wellington.
Wilson unconvincingly drives aerially down the ground but then plays the sweetest of drives - the ball making a gorgeous sound off the bat - for four.

It's the lowest powerplay score for the Invincibles so far in the tournament.

It was a great effort from Maia Bouchier. She had to cover a lot of ground to get there.
Can we put this down as a drop? I think so.
Fran Wilson pulls into the leg side and Maia Bouchier, running in from the boundary, is down low but can't hold on. She just about got it to it but it was a tough chance, she had a lot of room to make.

Malcolm Glynn: Mixed to be honest. The cricket hasn’t been great, but overall it’s a fun day out. Nice to see lots of families at the grounds but disturbing that the games attract foul-mouthed people who only seem to be there because there is no football to go to. I’ll think twice about taking my son again due to the bad language and offensive chants. Maybe we’ll just go to the women’s game and leave early.
Victoria F: As a family, we attended the Manchester Originals v London Spirit matches at Old Trafford on 10 August. We all thoroughly enjoyed the friendly, relaxed vibe, and watching both matches. Our children (7 and 9) are already interested in cricket, but were really engaged by the different format! We can't wait for more of The Hundred next year!
Close! Van Niekerk completely mistimes a drive and the ball sails narrowly over the infield and they run a single.
A wide from Bell gifts Invincibles one more.
You feel Van Niekerk will be so important for her team today.

Beautiful shot. Van Niekerk gave herself a bit of room, backed away to hit up and over the fielders.
And again from Van Niekerk! It's a fuller delivery once more from Bell and it's given the same treatment. Four.
