  1. IndW 218-7published at 15:22 British Summer Time 19 June 2021

Anya Shrubsole is into the attack. Speaking in Hindi, one of the Indian batters just warned the other "watch out, this one swings it a lot as well". ...

Well, that advice has been taken on board as Rana crisply cracks Shrubsole through cover for four.

The India batter then goes fishing at a wide delivery and is fortunate not to nick behind, before clipping one a foot or so out of the reach of a diving Tammy Beaumont at short leg.

It has got a little darker in the last 20 minutes but you’d say the light is perfectly playable. There isn’t a lot of wind to blow the cloud away which is a bad sign now they’re off.

    Lead by 47 runs

Wow, what a ball. Katherine Brunt + new ball = danger for Pandey and Rana.

Brunt doesn't just have the ball talking, she has it shouting as the seamer finds the perfect shape, moving away off the turf and narrowly missing Rana's off stump.

  4. new ball

    New ballpublished at 80.2 overs

Lead by 46 runs (Ind 211-7)

After bowling two balls with the old ball, Katherine Brunt takes the new ball.

"Come on," grunts Amy Jones behind the stumps.

India do have some depth in their lower order, they picked a lot of all-rounders knowing they'd like extra batting in this match.

Pandey dropped on 6published at 15:11 British Summer Time 19 June 2021

    IndW lead by 46 runs

Sophie Ecclestone stretches her shoulders and grimaces ever so slightly. She has bowled 28 overs in this match, much more than the rest of her team-mates. No wonder if she's a little tired.

The 22-year-old could have had her fifth wicket of the innings as Georgia Elwiss drops a very tough chance at silly point. We're being quite harsh by saying it's a drop. It's one of those where if it sticks, it sticks.

I wonder whether the players know how loud the stump mics are? We've heard a lot. We've also learned a lot, such as Heather Knight's nickname being 'Trev'.

  15. Umpire reviewpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 19 June 2021

    IndW 205-7

A terrific ball from Heather Knight - bounce and turn which hits Rana just above the knee-roll. Given not out. Knight reviews. Surely it struck the batter outside the line?

    Rahane 8, Kohli 29

There hasn't been too much to report from Southampton over the last 10 minutes. In fact, just a Kohli single through mid-wicket off the bowling of Southee, followed by a push through the off side for one more.

Rahane and De Grandhomme did exchange a couple of friendly words a moment ago. Must have been something about his hair. I mean what else do you talk to him about?
