Hayley Jensen continues and there's a little scare for England as they run a quick single and the under-arm throw clatters the stumps - Tammy Beaumont is safe though.
The run rate is creeping up towards six again.

Might we finally see a score of 300 this summer?
That's an uppish cover drive from Amy Jones but is pierces the infield perfectly. The next delivery is short and Jones pulls it through the onside for another boundary.
Three in the over for Jones, England have suddenly got going again.

But that's what she can do! All grace and elegance.

Amy Jones looks a bit scratchy. She's had a couple of inside edges, hasn't quite found her rhythm whereas Tammy Beaumont just wants to get on with it.
Now it's Tammy Beaumont's turn to find the inside edge!
Beaumont has looked in great toouch but that was a loose shot as they run through for a single. Hannah Rowe has her head in her hands.
The next delivery...and that is a glorious drive from Amy Jones. Textbook stuff.
Hayley Jensen is in to her sixth over and it's another inside edge by Amy Jones! This time it clatters off her pads and bobbles just wide of the stumps.
Jones does find the middle of the bat with a neat cut shot that is swept up on the cover boundary for a single. Tammy Beaumont then repeats the trick as England continue to rotate the strike.
Lauren Winfield-Hill had four lives (yes, four!) but was eventually dismissed for 43.

I wasn't expecting that.

That might be because of the shape of Canterbury's ground. It's shaped a bit like my back.
Hannah Rowe continues and ooohh an inside edge narrowly misses Jones' stumps!
It was a bit of a wafty drive but Jones gets away with it and they can scamper through for a single. Another wide makes it two from the over as England continue to nudge their way along.
Tammy Beaumont is 64 from 79 balls and looking in very good nick.
It's time for drinks.

New Zealand have bowled 11 wides already.

England were just looking like they were getting away. The wicket of Sciver has pegged them back a touch but they're still in a very strong position.
Jones 6 Beaumont 64
England have batted really well but they have been helped along by some sketchy fielding from New Zealand, not least those three dropped catches.
Hayley Jensen comes into the attack.
Three dot balls follow before yet another misfield at square leg allows Amy Jones to squeeze the ball through for four.
That must be so frustrating for the bowler.

England are pretty confident at the moment. 245 is the highest total of the series, 244 the highest first-innings total.
We might need to put a call out for volunteers in the Canterbury area to help push Alex's car home...

I was at my best friend's wedding yesterday, I had to drive about 220 miles to get here, but with the sun out I finally have a reason to have my sunglasses on. With the petrol station problems, I might have to push the car home.
A century last match, a duck the next.
That's cricket for you as Heather Knight departs after two deliveries.
