I think Lauren Winfield-Hill is going for a personal record here. That's the fourth time she has been dropped.

I think Lauren Winfield-Hill is going for a personal record here. That's the fourth time she has been dropped.
Can you believe it?
I don't know what to say, this is ridiculous. It's clipped in the air to midwicket, a difficult chance for Amy Satterthwaite who's jumping one-handed but she's such a good fielder who will back herself to take those.

The most awkward of misfields.
When your captain misfields how do you react? What do you do?
A misfield from Sophie Devine at mid-on gives Winfield-Hill a bonus boundary. As if she needs any more luck today!
She takes a single from the next ball to surpass her highest score of the series.
Tammy Beaumont clips off her legs for another wonderfully timed four and the drinks break hasn't solved New Zealand's inconsistency.

Lauren Winfield-Hill is entering her danger zone. She has batted seven times in ODIs this summer. She has made 33 in four of those but has never gone past 42. She is currently 33.
Lauren Winfield-Hill enters the nervous 30s.
She's not looked perfectly fluent, with the drops and a few loose drives, but she has a great opportunity to kick on and make a score.

Brilliant shot from Winfield-Hill, she just leans into it and the diving extra-cover couldn't get there.
England are looking good out there today.
Winfield-Hill 33, Beaumont 35
Hayley Jensen is introduced to the attack and is immediately driven to the boundary by Lauren Winfield-Hill, who is making the most of her three drops so far.
Good time for a drinks break as New Zealand can reassess their plans and work out how they can take a wicket.

As long there are no boundaries being scored New Zealand won't be too angry with these singles.
The run rate is slowing down for England, albeit gradually.
New Zealand's tactic seems to be squeezing England to just singles in attempt to frustrate them out.
Hannah Rowe executes it well, she's been very consistent - certainly the pick of the bowlers so far.

Penfold has a deep cover out now. She is only playing her second ODI, so give her that protection and let her get into her spell.
Her figures look expensive but she has bowled well, she's just bowled that boundary ball every over.
Winfield-Hill gets an inside edge that somehow sneaks past the stumps. It's definitely her day today.
Molly Penfold has her head in her hands and who can blame her!?
Lauren Winfield-Hill has been dropped three times.
Yes, three.
This is the first of those.
England are looking extremely confident. Can they make the most of this start?

I don't blame New Zealand for reviewing because Tammy Beaumont has been out like that a few times this series.
The impact is outside the line, and New Zealand lose the review. But you can see why they went for the review - they're desperate.
Beaumont hits the next ball for four, just rubbing it in a bit.

This could be close. It's very clearly hitting pad first.
Remember that one a few games ago where no one really reviewed for an lbw on Tammy Beaumont and it ended up being out? This is basically identical to that.
Hannah Rowe didn't appeal much.

We have a debutant coming into the building, and we have looked into the history books I don't think there is anyone younger to make their TMS debut.
Welcome Melissa Story!
Winfield-Hill 24, Beaumont 26
Tammy Beaumont carves a fuller delivery from Molly Penfold through the covers for a delightful four.
What can New Zealand do here? They look out of ideas at the moment and it's only been 11 overs.
