  1. Eng 30-1published at 5 overs

    Target 154

    Shot!

With pressures building - after just two singles and a wide from the first five balls - Nat Sciver threads through the gap in the covers with a crunching cut.

Decent over in the end, with seven coming off it.

We're back to Shikha Pandey. She found some movement in the first over.

Nat Sciver is so strong off the back foot, but that can be a weakness too. When she first comes in you need to try and get her forward on the front foot.

Sciver has been England's standout player in this series.

  5. Eng 23-1published at 4 overs

    Target 154

Two more singles end the over.

The required run rate is 8.18. England won't want it to go much higher.

  6. Eng 21-1published at 3.4 overs

Nat Sciver is the new batter, and she's off the mark straight away with a flick through mid-wicket.

That's good bowling from Sharma, forcing the batter to have the sweep in her mind with the field placing and she's gone for it. She was plumb in front.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 3.3 overs

    Beaumont lbw b Sharma 11 (Eng 20-1)

    Crashing into leg stump!

Tammy Beaumont was down on one knee, looking to sweep, but misses and she's trapped in front.

That's a big wicket for India.

India know this is a big wicket if it's out.

    There's no bat...

  11. England reviewpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 14 July 2021

Tammy Beaumont has been given out lbw, but after a chat with Danni Wyatt she decides to send it upstairs.

It looks good, but she is a fair way forward.

    Deepti Sharma is on now.

Four overs. Four different bowlers for the tourists.

I didn't know you could hit it from behind the stumps!

  14. Eng 20-0published at 3 overs

    Target 154

What on earth has just happened!?!

Tammy Beaumont has just gone so deep in her crease, she's pulled the ball JUST, and I mean JUST, behind the back of the stumps.

Shafali Verma hares after it, and looks to flick the ball back, but ends up flicking it over the ropes. Her batting is sensational. Her fielding less so. It's something she'll know she needs to work on.

That isn't a shot Danni likes to play so seeing her try that is exactly what the Indians will want to see.

  16. dropped catch

Wyatt dropped on threepublished at 2.4 overs

Danni Wyatt really needs a score today, after a series of low scores in an England score.

She tries to manufacture something by moving outside off, and takes on the pull, and loops towards Arundhati Reddy at mid-wicket, who gets a hand to it, but spills it.

    A big chance.

England have won five of the six matches in which they have chased here at Chelmsford.

  20. Eng 8-0published at 2 overs

    Target 154

Another slice of luck for Tammy Beaumont, as she looks to drive straight back down the ground, but misses, and the ball just evades the stumps.

The required run rate is up to 8.11 after two quiet overs to start.
