    WICKETpublished at 15.4 overs

    Rana b Ecclestone 4 (Ind 116-4)

    Sophie Ecclestone strikes!

Ecclestone, who isn't in the best of moods, fires a quicker ball in and watches Sneh Rana get bowled around her legs. Suprisingly grumpy, Ecclestone, for a spinner.

India have dominated the middle overs - from over seven to 15 - scoring 80 runs for the loss of just one wicket.

It is only the fifth time that England have conceded 80 or more in that block, and the first time in 22 games.

Missed run outpublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 14 July 2021

    Oh!

Freya Davies has all the time in the world at the non striker's end to grab the ball - an absolute bullet through from Danni Wyatt, by the way - and run Sneh Rana out but she doesn't collect it cleanly, and ends up wafting at the stumps while the ball drops behind her. Ouch.

A full toss from Freya Davies, and it's given the treatment from Smriti Mandhana, who punches it for four.

    Ind 97-3

Smriti Mandhana drives Freya Davies up into the air - and it drops just short of a diving Mady Villiers!

Villiers comes charging in off the long-on boundary but can't quite get there in time, and ends up kneeing the ball away from her hands. She's saved four.

Smriti Mandhana will have to bat a few more overs now.

England will try and dot up the other end, and put pressure on the new batter, and then in turn on Mandhana.
