If they do go off for bad light here, Conway will be absolutely kicking himself for getting out that way.

    Out of nowhere!

Devon Conway has played so well, but he's whipped Ishant Sharma straight to mid-on.

What a way to fall, especially with the light closing in. An opening for India.

The umpires are just getting twitchy about the light, I feel.

Surely Michael Gough doesn't need a second invitation to get his light meter out?

The light is looking iffy, that's for sure. With the spinner now being taken off and pace at both ends, I think the umpires will be getting twitchy.

On TMS they are discussing the possibility of turning this match into a timeless Test. If it really is the final, or the Ultimate Test (as it's being billed), let's play to the bitter end. I'm all for it. Keep playing until next weekend.

If this ground was a mile or so further south east we’d be fine but I fear some rain, or at least bad light, is coming…

This is excellent from Jasprit Bumrah, angling in then nipping away past the edge of Kane Williamson's bat. Williamson survives by playing close to his body, not following the ball. There's a cloud coming like the spaceship over the White House in Independence Day. What do you mean you haven't seen Independence Day? Ask your parents.

He didn't look too clever running a second with 200 to his name at Lord's. Out of nowhere, the Bharat Army have sprung into life. Drums and some brass in there. Lovely stuff.

I've watched Devon Conway for three Tests in a row now and I still couldn't tell you his weakness.

A half-century for Devon Conway. It's amazing to think he hadn't played Test cricket before the beginning of this month. He's faced 137 balls. I feel like I've seen him bat a lot over the past couple of weeks. Here are some of his best bits...

A few times today Conway has whipped his bottom hand from the handle of his bat after playing a shot. I wonder if he's just playing the ball very low or if there is still some uneven bounce out there.
