Good catch that - they are never easy to take.

    Lanning c Beaumont b Shrubsole 10 (Aus 331-4)

A fine catch from Tammy Beaumont to end Meg Lanning's brief stay at the crease.

Lanning goes for a big heave across the line, the ball skies high up in the air off the top edge and seems to float around for an age before dropping.

They look easy but they never are, especially in the sun, and Beaumont hangs on.

There's been a boundary every over for Australia and if you rotate the strike well too, that means your run-rate is naturally nine an over.

  4. Aus 330-3published at 47 overs

You get two wickets in an over and yet the next batter to come out is Meg Lanning.

They give you nothing, these Aussies.

Katherine Brunt starts her final over well, but then bowls down the leg side and gifts Meg Lanning an easy four before offering some width outside off stump for the same result.

Katherine Brunt's bowling: 3% full, 48% good length and 49% short. 10 overs, 0 maidens, went for 69 runs, took 0 wickets with an economy of 6.90.

    Gardner run out (Cross/Shrubsole) 1 (Aus 318-1)

    Yes, they have!

The big hitter Ash Gardner is only able to face two balls as she calls Beth Mooney through for an optimistic second run to Kate Cross at long-on.

Two quick wickets for England - can they make the most of it?

Ooooh, have Australia gone for one run too many?

Healy st Jones b Shrubsole 170 (Aus 316-2)

One of the greatest innings in ODI history comes to an end.

Healy goes for another big drive, her foot leaves the crease and Jones does the rest.

But the dismissal doesn't really matter because that was an absolute privilege to be able to watch that. An innings that will be talked about for years to come.

Healy soaks up the applause from the Christchurch crowd and rightly so.

I might need some help with the No Balls podcast this week. I'm not sure my co-host will be up for it...

  13. Aus 315-1published at 45 overs

    Healy 170, Mooney 57

What's that? A false shot? Healy top-edges one up in the air and ... safe.

Kate Cross follows it with five wides. The wheels are well and truly off.

Some staggering numbers: that's the 150 partnership between this pair and Healy has more than 500 runs in this tournament.

Four more to Healy and guess where it went? You guessed it - over extra cover to bring up Australia's 300.

She repeats it with a ramp shot for the same result.

In the dressing room, Meg Lanning claps and shakes her head in awe. You and me both, Meg.

  17. Aus 297-1published at 44 overs

This is brutal for England. Absolutely brutal.

Three more fours follow that, and Ecclestone's ninth over concedes 15. The way they've gone after the world's number one has been a lesson to other teams around the world if they want to counter her threat in the future.

150 for Alyssa Healypublished at 04:57 British Summer Time 3 April 2022

Oh my word. We are witnessing an absolute masterclass here.

Alyssa Healy lofts Ecclestone over cover for another boundary to bring up her 150.

I'm running out of words to describe her batting. You'll just have to trust me when I say she's been really, really good.

The run map shows Alyssa Healy scored 155 with 23 fours, 4 twos, and 55 singles for Australia Women
