  1. Australia 42-0published at 10.2 overs

Haynes has to be quick as Dunkley's throw, while on her knees at cover, is just in front of the stumps. The opener replies by whipping the ball past square leg for another four as Australia's acceleration continues.

  2. Australia 37-0published at 10 overs

I think that might be the last we see of Shrubsole for a while, but five overs for 12 is a good return tough.

Anya Shrubsole's bowling: 3% full, 77% good length and 19% short. 5 overs, 0 maidens, went for 12 runs, took 0 wickets with an economy of 2.40.

Just in the last couple of overs, Alyssa Healy has started to find the accelerator ever so slightly.

  4. Australia 37-0published at 9.4 overs

Shrubsole wobbles it through the air again but Healy is equal to it, driving the ball straight back past the bowler for another boundary.

They are just starting to tick over.

I could really do with an ice cream today to ease the nerves.

  6. Australia 32-0published at 9 overs

Healy breaks the shackles with a fine shot, whipped off her pads through midwicket for four with a bit of a flourish at the end of the stroke.

I'll be honest, it feels like a batting day.

But England have started very well.

  8. Australia 26-0published at 8 overs

Another excellent over from Shrubsole. One of the heroes of the 2017 final, she's gone for just seven off her first four overs.

Nat Sciver is into the attack at the other end.

  9. Australia 25-0published at 7.4 overs

Rachael Haynes looks to be in great nick, she's gone past Laura Wolvaardt as the leading run scorer at this tournament already today.

That's a big release of pressure for Australia. I don't think Katherine Brunt is happy with the effort from Shrubsole at fine leg but she has got her length wrong there.

  11. Australia 24-0published at 6.3 overs

Brunt drops short and Haynes hooks it gloriously behind square leg for four. And two deliveries later, Brunt tries again and Hayes repeats the trick to relieve the pressure that has built up.

It was a bit of an after-thought to appeal. But this is great pressure from England.

  13. Australia 16-0published at 6 overs

More swing for Shrubsole and she hits Healy's pads in an adjacent area. The bowler appeals and is keen on a review when it's given not out but Heather Knight indicates it was going down leg.

Haroon: Australia demolished England in the Women’s Ashes and have been exceptionally dominant in the World Cup but I’ll still get my hopes up that Sophie Ecclestone will take a 7-fer and Tammy Beaumont will score a 70*(62).

No fireworks with the bat as yet as the bowling has been excellent. Proper nip-and-tuck so far.

  16. Australia 13-0published at 4.3 overs

Just a single off Shrubsole's second over, then Brunt has half a mind to appeal as she strikes Healy on the pad but it's miles outside leg.

They take a quick single, and off the next ball Brunt gets Haynes groping outside off stump with a lovely off cutter.

They're very intimidating, the Aussies. I hate walking past them, even in the street.

I haven't seen one of them smile yet today.

They've got their game-faces on, Alex...

  18. Australia 10-0published at 3.3 overs

Anya Shrubsole goes back over the wicket to the left-handed Rachael Haynes, and she's still getting a lot of movement through the air in the bright sunshine.

That is a fine piece of timing from Alyssa Healy.

  20. Australia 10-0published at 2.4 overs

Shot! Brunt drops short for the first time and Healy cuts it past point for her first boundary.
