    If you needed a little sub-plot, I give you Alex Hales v Eoin Morgan - the ignored man of England white-ball cricket against the national side's limited-overs skipper.

    The London Spirit lost their opener and were the victims of the weather, with their game against capital rivals, the Oval Invincibles, rained off.

  15. So, we're missing some big players this evening. Dan Lawrence and Zak Crawley are both on England duty for Spirit, with Joe Root missing for Rockets for the same reason.
