Eoin Morgan speaking to Isa Guha on BBC Two: "I thought we had a par score, but we were right in the game. We took early wickets, gave ourselves a chance but we were a gallop short at the end.

"To play these tight game every time is ridiculous, great for the tournament but bad for us. I thought Laurie Evans was brilliant.

"I felt better than probably for the whole tournament. It was nice to spend more time out there, but a senior player like me needs to stand up earlier in the tournament."

Laurie Evans speaking to Isa Guha on BBC Two: "I hadn't really got going in this tournament so it is nice to arrive. Some days it comes good, you work hard, take pride and today was my day.

"Monday is huge, every day means something, it should be a great spectacle. The guys in the changing room are loving it."

Sam Billings speaking to Isa Guha on BBC Two: "Laurie showed his class tonight - what a knock. In this kind of opportunity in front of a packed house, you want guys to step up.

"I still don't think we have played our best cricket but we get over the line.

"The experience in the side is priceless. There are areas where we can be slightly better at the end, but it's exciting and about peaking at the right time."
