  3. Rockets 144-6published at 100 balls

Matthew Carter swipes out towards the boundary and scurries two to finish.

Strong end by the Rockets, though you feel this total is pretty much about par.

Can they carry the momentum into their bowling though?

This is great bowling by Milne.

Whatever you think about Dawid Malan, one run off five balls is a much, much worse knock.

Rashid Khan looked miles out of his depth against Adam Milne and duly skies one to Liam Livingstone at deep point.

Two wickets to Milne, fantastic spell yet again by the Kiwi quick.

  13. Rockets 128-5published at 94 balls

Rashid Khan might want to start using that bat.

He swings and misses yet again.

Rashid Khan tweeted this was his new bat before Trent Rockets' last game against London Spirit.

He didn't get to use it. He is today.

We're halfway through London Spirit's innings against Southern Brave and the wickets have tumbled since our last update from Lord's.

Spirit are 49-4 from 50 balls. Deandra Dottin (2), Heather Knight (3) and Deepti Sharma (0) are the wickets to fall.

The Brave's Amanda-Jade Wellington has two wickets in the bank to go with her run out from earlier. Stafanie Taylor (1-9) is the other wicket taker.

That could save Birmingham 10 or 15 runs there.

    Brilliant, Moeen Ali!

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 91 balls

Malan run out (Moeen) 51 (Rockets 127-5)

    Moeen Ali, that is sublime.

Dawid Malan taps and goes, taking on Moeen's arm in the covers.

Error. Only one stump to aim at, but the Phoenix captain connects with a perfect throw.

Malan wasn't even close enough to dive. Not sure that innings does anything to settle the fierce debate over his England T20 spot - plenty in there that both sides of the argument could use to advance their case.
