It's a decent shot. He gambled on the length and picked it up and over that vacant mid-wicket area.
Four!
That's more like it from Michael van Lingen, perhaps brought on by a bit of pressure, as he larrups Josh Davey over mid-wicket for a one bounce four.
Henry Moeran
BBC Test Match Special
There hasn't been a wicket yet but there's been control from Scotland's bowlers.
Target 110
Perilously close to a run out for Namibia...
This has been a good start from Scotland, just keeping the openers quiet.
Safyaan Sharif is into the attack and gets clipped for a leisurely single by Craig Williams.
Target 110
Just two runs from the over.
Dot, dot, dot from Brad Wheal.
Target 110
What an analogy that is.

It has a feeling that you have had your dinner at your gran's and you're waiting to go home. Scotland need some impetus here.
Josh Davey is on to bowl, and he beats Michael van Lingen first up.
Henry Moeran

Wheal has bowled reasonably well in this over without luck.
Target 110
Win predictor, which I haven't quite made my mind up on, has Scotland's chances at 18%.
Brad Wheal tickles Craig Williams' outside edge to end the over.
That's better!
Streaky from Michael van Lingen, swinging hard outside off stump and just about avoiding chopping onto his stumps.
That'll be four byes, Brad Wheal drifting onto the pads of Michael van Lingen and watching the ball trickle past a despairing dive.
Target 110
Brad Wheal will open the bowling, and a single is nabbed off his first delivery.
So then, are Namibia chasing this down?
Openers Craig Williams and Michael van Lingen are out in the middle.
Namibia's Jan Frylinck, who took 2-10 from four overs: "We stuck to our guns and kept it quite simple."
On conditions: "I'm loving it. It's suiting my bowling and it's suiting our whole bowling attack.
On Ruben Trumpelmann's 3-17: "He revved it up with the new nut and struck in that first over, which put us on a roll."
Cheers, Kal.
I'll be honest, I thought Scotland were going to get rolled for 60 again. That's a great effort.
You'd fancy Namibia to see this chase off with ease. But can Scotland defend such a low total? As the old adage goes, you don't know what will happen until both sides have batted.
That's my lot for today. Taking you through the rest of this match will be Amy Lofthouse.
