So that's that for this live text and the Super 12s stage of the Men's T20 World Cup.

Callum Matthews' report of India's nine-wicket win over Namibia is here.

    The scorecard is here.

    The tables are here.

And highlights are available via the cricket section of the BBC Sport website and app here.

We'll be back for England's semi-final against New Zealand on Wednesday, followed by Pakistan against Australia on Thursday.

The final will take place in Dubai on Sunday.

See you later. For now, farewell.

Kohli on his T20 international future: "The intensity is never going to change. If I can't do that I will not play anymore.

"Even when I wasn't captain before I was always keen to see where the game is going. I'm not going to stand around and do nothing.

On not batting at three today: "Suryakumar Yadav didn't get much time, it's a T20 World Cup and I thought it might be a nice memory of him to take back. As a youngster you want to take back some good memories from a World Cup."

More from Kohli: "A positive is the way we played in last three games. It’s a game of margins, you talk about two overs of intent in the first two games and things could have been different.

"We won’t make arguments about the toss because you should do both things well whether you win or lose.

"We were not brave enough in the first couple of games."

India captain Virat Kohli on his final T20 international as skipper: "Relief. It’s been an honour, but things have to be kept in perspective.

"This was the right time for me to manage my workload. It’s been six to seven years of intense cricket and that takes a lot out of you.

"It’s been amazing. It's been so much fun, a great bunch of guys who really performed well as a team. I know we haven’t gone further in this World Cup but we have played some really good cricket as a T20 side and we’ve enjoyed playing together for so long. That’s made my job a lot easier."

Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus: "Quick turnarounds mean we haven’t been able to soak in the experience - only once we get back we’ll realise we played at an awesome level of cricket and we managed to compete so if we can keep playing in tournaments like this cricket can only grow.

"We can take a lot of positives individually and as a team we'll take this experience as a whole. Hopefully this lays the foundations for us to take the next step.

"We've inspired another generation of cricketers and they’ll look forward to the next World Cup."

India finish third in Group 2 on six points, two points off New Zealand in second and four points off rivals Pakistan, who were the only team in either group to win all five games.

Namibia finish fifth on two points, behind Afghanistan in fourth, and a place above winless Scotland.

There's a wristy flick for six in here that definitely needs to be seen. And seen again.

KL Rahul ends the tournament in sumptuous touch.

Player of the match Ravindra Jadeja who took 3-16: "I enjoyed bowling today because the ball and wicket was dry. Some balls were turning and some were going straight. It's tricky for batsmen who have to keep guessing."

On Virat Kohli's last game as T20 captain: "Virat has been wonderful with the captaincy. I have played with him for 10 or 12 years. I've enjoyed his captaincy. Positive and aggressive - it's what you want."

On Ravi Shastri and the coaching team: "They did the tremendous job. As a team unit we had a very good time. Hopefully whoever comes in the future, we'll continue with the momentum."

Ultimately, both these teams are going home but they've both got plenty of positives to take with them.

The Ravi Shastri era comes to an end. Five years as Indian coach. He's getting very emotional - you can see it in his eyes. But they should always be proud of the way the have played cricket in England, in Australia and in general. Two games shouldn't define this team.

India's openers are not an issue they need to address. They may not have fired against Pakistan and New Zealand (albeit Rohit Sharma came in at three in the latter) but both Rohit and KL Rahul have been superb since.

A very professional performance. You can only put away the opposition in front of you.

Virat Kohli is still yet to win a major trophy as India captain.

They were beaten by New Zealand in the semi-finals of the 2019 50-over World Cup.

And they were also beaten by New Zealand in the World Test Championship final earlier this year.

Now India have failed to make the semi-finals of this T20 World Cup and he won't be leading them at the next one in Australia next year.

Kohli would have loved to have won this tournament and finish his captaincy with a win.

Namibia have nothing to be ashamed of. They've had a good tournament. Hopefully we'll see more of them on the world stage.

  18. INDIA WIN BY NINE WICKETSpublished at 15.2 overs

    Ind 136-1

KL Rahul steps away to dismissively thwack Michael van Lingen through wide mid-off for a four to secure a very comfortable nine-wicket win.

India have played brilliantly in their last three games.

The first two were the issue - defeats to Pakistan and New Zealand mean they are now going home, instead of on to the semi-finals.

Namibia have fought well, and have the fine memory of their victory over Scotland in this Super 12s stage.
