It's stopped raining! The umpires had a word with one of the groundstaff in the middle, before calling the two captains over for a chat.

It looks like we could be back under way shortly.

This has been a game of two half-centuries so far, from India's Virat Kohli and Bangladesh opener Litton Das.

    Here are their best bits:

Good news: some of the larger covers are coming off, much to the delight of the India supporters in the stadium.

It is still raining though, though not as heavy as before.

When the match does restart we will definitely lose some overs.

In Wednesday's earlier game, Zimbabwe's hopes of reaching the semi-finals were all but extinguished with a five-wicket defeat by the Netherlands.

Zimbabwe's stand-out player - both in this match and the tournament as a whole - was Sikandar Raza.

The 36-year-old has had a fascinating journey to the world stage, from Pakistan to Zimbabwe, via Scotland.

He has been speaking to my colleague Matthew Henry all about it - and it is well worth a read.

Check out Sikandar Raza's story here.

TMS is reporting that we will start to lose overs if the players are not back out by 10:58 GMT.

The groundstaff are poised by the covers in the middle and a rope is being dragged by two tractors around the outfield to skim off some of the water. So we should be able to get going fairly quickly when the rain stops.

While we are waiting for the rain to clear here are the best shots from Litton Das' half-century - the second quickest of the tournament so far.

The DLS par score after seven overs is 49 - Bangladesh are 17 runs ahead on 66-0.

The rain seems to be easing a touch as the umpires head out to have a look. They are huddled round of the senior groundsmen looking at the weather radar on his phone.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are nervously looking up at the sky.

Oh dear. The rain has well and truly arrived. It is hammering it down.

The Bangladesh batters race off the pitch. The India fielders are not quite so keen to get off - they are behind on DLS at the moment.

India look powerless to stop Litton Das at the moment. He has just clattered Mohammed Shami through the covers for another four.

A couple of singles complete a thumping powerplay for Bangladesh and especially Litton Das - who has 56 of their 60 runs.

Litton Das is seeing it like a beach ball at the moment.

He strides down the pitch to Mohammed Shami before powering a pull shot through mid-wicket for six to bring up his fifty off just 21 balls - the second-fastest half-century of this World Cup.

Wonderful shot by Das and he's tossed the ball over the fine leg boundary for six.
