    Glenn Maxwell literally plonks his bat on one that is slightly wide and it whizzes away for four.

    Big wicket! The umpire took his time to decide, but eventually Zak Crawley has to go.

    Crawley gets into a right tangle, probably surprised by the pace, and ends up getting an edge through to the keeper off the back of his bat.

    Mohammad Hasnain was greeted with a six from his first ball so he'll be much happier with the wicket this time around.

    He's a canny spin bowler who runs up to bowl with his bowling arm behind his back, hiding it so the batter can't guess what he's going to bowl.

    Maxwell chips one up in the air agonisingly past the fielder, who dives Superman-style but the ball still runs away for four. 50 up for Spirit from just 30 balls.

    We said Glenn Maxwell was entertaining and he's played some outrageous shots already in the three balls he's faced.

    The slight problem is that he missed the first two - one attempt at a reverse-pull-type thing and the other trying to flick it over the wicketkeeper's head.

    He gets hold of the third, which is drilled through the off-side in slightly more orthodox style for four.

    Australian Glenn Maxwell is the new batter. He didn't play in last year's tournament but he is one of the most entertaining batters in the world.

    Rossington tries to flick it into the leg side for another six but gets a bit carried away and can only chip it high, high into the air for Hilton Cartwright to take a solid catch.
