All times stated are UK

  1. Originals 97-8

Four more! Hartley tries to scoop one over the keeper, gets it completely wrong as he nutmegs himself but it's four nonetheless (somehow).

  2. Originals 93-8

    Target 161

Tom Hartley with a wonderful strike into the stands, smashing one over the bowler's head for six.

It's not going to change the result but some kids have some fun scrambling between seats to get the ball and throw it back, which is what it's all about, really.

    Chris Green

    Middlesex all-rounder on BBC Radio

Thompson was impressive tonight. He's watched the first innings and seen what has done well. Went full early on and then used his variation.

  4. Originals 83-8

    Target 161

The boys in blue really do look full of confidence.

The lowest score in the men's hundred is 87, scored by Birmingham Phoenix last year.

    Chris Green

    Middlesex all-rounder on BBC Radio

A big turnaround. I think they've recruited well. Their overseas signings are bang on as well.

    Henry Moeran

    BBC Radio

Another wicket for Thompson. He deserves that. London Spirit look like the team to beat.

  7. WICKET

    Abbott c Crane b Thompson 10 (Originals 77-8)

    Sean Abbott's fun is over!

Another excellent slower ball from Jordan Thompson is sliced into the hands of a fielder and he has remarkable figures of four wickets for just 15 runs!

Jos Buttler covers his head with his cap in disbelief. A sorry, sorry performance from his side.

  8. Post update

    25 balls to go graphic
  9. Originals 76-7

    Target 161

The win predictor now has London Spirit at 100%. I think that tells you all you need to know.

  10. Originals 75-7

Let's have some fun, shall we?

Sean Abbott fancies some. He takes a wild swing at Chris Wood and the ball dangles high in the air, is caught by Ravi Bopara on the boundary but he steps over the rope with the ball in hand, meaning it's six.

  11. Post update

We've seen plenty of scenes like this tonight, which isn't pretty viewing for Manchester Originals fans.

The writing is very much on the wall.

  13. Post update

    Steven Finn

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

Dawson held his length wonderfully. He delivers with two important wickets. Manchester Originals are in a sorry state.

  14. WICKET

    Salt b Dawson 36 (Originals 67-7)

    And there it is.

Phil Salt battled hard for his 36 but Liam Dawson wins the battle as he is clean bowled trying to heave another one into the stands.

94 from 34 balls needed now with just three wickets left. As close to impossible as you can get.

  15. Originals 67-6

Sean Abbott is in now so we're really into the bowlers.

All their hopes lie on Phil Salt's shoulders. He really has to provide a miracle.

  16. Originals 66-6

Glenn Maxwell does some excellent fielding on the boundary to save four, but looks to twist his back awkwardly as he throws the ball.

He rolls about in some discomfort, but is able to get back up as he leaves the pitch for some treatment, which is a good sign. Not sure what that means for him, but at least he's all right for now.

As Tristan Stubbs walks off, you imagine he's taking Manchester Originals' hopes with him.

  18. WICKET

    Stubbs c Maxwell b Dawson 1 (Originals 63-6)

Aaaand the partnership is broken. Is the hope gone?

No blame on Tristan Stubbs here. His team needed 98 runs from 34 balls, he had to go for it. He just doesn't quite get hold of it and Glenn Maxwell takes a simple catch on the boundary.

  19. Originals 63-5

    Target 161

Crane recovers well from being hit for four and continues to cause problems.

This partnership between Salt and Stubbs is probably the Originals' last hope.

The worm shows Manchester Originals Men are 32 runs behind London Spirit Men. Manchester Originals Men are 63 for 5 after 65 balls. At the same stage London Spirit Men were 95 for 2.

A much-needed boundary for Originals, and for Phil Salt. It was a bit short from Crane and punished.
