  1. Post update

Birmingham Phoenix's Imran Tahir, speaking to Sky Sports:

"I don't want to let go of any opportunities I have. I want to respect the game. It's not easy with these youngsters. I want to be an example to the kids watching me.

"I've got a couple of deliveries I have been working on. I have a big heart also. You are bowling every day.

"I promised with my son, he plays football and is a big Ronaldo fan, if I take a wicket I will do the [Siu celebration]."

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

That's a good score on the board. At one stage they didn't look like getting 150 but that's a really valuable knock from Adam Hose.

Birmingham Phoenix do have the firepower to chase it down but a few early wickets would set them back.

Momentum is key in games like this. Phoenix have winning momentum behind them, having won their last three in a row.

  3. Superchargers set Phoenix 170 to win

Some late big hitting sees Superchargers to a competitive total. This could be a great chase.

  4. Post update

    Henry Moeran

    BBC Radio

Hugely significant runs from Adam Hose.

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

That is such a good option because if you get any part of the bat on it, you'll get four or six.

  6. Superchargers 155-6

    Hose 43, Bravo 2

DJ Bravo shimmies backwards but Helm follows him. The ball goes down his leg side but because he started so far across his stumps, it's not a wide. Bowlers unions across the country celebrate that a rule is in their favour!

Hose avenges the unamused Bravo and flicks it back over his shoulder for six.

  7. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

They're looking at around 160 but looking at Phoenix's batting I'm just not sure it's going to be enough.

  8. Post update

    10 balls to go
  9. Post update

    Henry Moeran

    BBC Radio

That's a big wicket, David Wiese was looking dangerous.

  10. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

That's a great catch. It was travelling like a bullet and it almost knocked Hammond backwards!

  11. WICKET

    Wiese c Hammond b Richardson 34 (Superchargers 146-6)

Fuller and wider from Richardson and Wiese can't get all of it. Hammond takes it with two hands leaping to his left and takes it low to the ground at point.

  12. Post update

    Alex Hartley

Former England bowler on BBC Radio

That could prove to be a really important passage of the game.

  13. Superchargers 143-5

    Hose 36, Wiese 32

Full toss? "I'll have that" says Wiese as he launches it back past Helm.

And as is the routine from Wiese, he goes again and this time into the Hollies.

He's smashing them to a very competitive total here.

  14. Post update

    Henry Moeran

    BBC Radio

That was pure brutality from David Wiese.

  15. Superchargers 126-5

    Hose 35, Wiese 16

Wiese goes aerial on a slightly over-pitched one from Howell. It smashes into the boundary and is signalled six.

Just two balls later and he goes again.

    That. Is. Huge.

He's got long hair but he's also got long levers and they've sent it into the crowd on the leg side. 83m not too shabby!

  16. Superchargers 113-5

    Hose 34, Wiese 4

A shy at the stumps from Howell as Hose and Wiese scamper through for two. A better throw and they could have been in trouble.

The end of another great spell from Imran Tahir.

Imran Tahir's bowling: 10% full, 80% good length and 10% short. 20 balls, 4 dots, went for 24 runs, took 1 wickets with an economy of 1.20 runs per ball.
  17. Post update

    25 balls to go
  18. Superchargers 108-5

    Hose 31, Wiese 2

The Phoenix fielding has been incredible. They're not leaking runs anywhere and we know how important that can be when it comes to their chase.

They've saved at least ten just by putting their bodies on the line in the outfield and there's no lack of commitment.

  19. WICKET

    Simpson c Benjamin b Tahir 3 (Superchargers 99-5)

    Imran Tahir

    SIIIUUUU!

Full from Tahir and Simpson tries to go straight down the ground. Regulation catch and less-than-regulation celebration.

  20. Post update

Miles Hammond, are there magnets on your hands? The ball was just drawn to them. That had four written all over it. It was smashed towards the boundary by Hose but Hammond had other ideas and dived full stretch to stop it. Get that man in a penalty shootout any time.
