We thought the four was perfect timing, well that was even better from Hammond. He makes it look so, so easy flicking the ball for six.

Hammond follows up a boundary through extra cover with a massive six over square leg.
A touch too full and it's picked up beautifully.
The Phoenix are 24-1 and 23 of those runs came off Smeed's bat. He's sitting in the dugout now though.
Nice set from Hasnain. Milnes has got the next one.
Smeed c S Curran b Hasnain 23 (Phoenix 23-1)
And that'll be the end of Smeed.
Perhaps playing one shot too many. It was into the pitch and got big on him as he spooned a catch to Sam Curran who was backpedalling at mid on.
Smeed welcomes Hasnain into the attack with a six.
Banged in short and Smeed hooks it over fine leg for his third maximum.

What a shot that is from Will Smeed, just sits back in his crease and guides it over the leg side.
That's a mighty strike into the leg side from Smeed. Sailed over the deep mid-wicket fence.
Tom replaces his brother Sam for the second set and he starts by conceding a boundary after straying down the leg side.

Lovely shot from Will Smeed it's not really a cricket shot at all. He just watched the ball on to his bat.
Excellent couple of balls to start from Sam Curran, got the ball zipping past the outside edge.
Got the ball swinging back into the right-hander as he often does as well.
And off the last delivery, Smeed replied by squeezing a full and wide one past point for four.

The sun's come out for the men's game this evening.
Right, we're ready to go.
Will Smeed is up against Sam Curran
Today's key battle is between Oval Invincibles' Jason Roy and Birmingham Phoenix's Liam Livingstone.
Arguably two of the cleanest ball strikers playing the competition, it'll be a fun contest to see who hits the bigger six.
While Roy has had a poor run thus far, amassing just 30 runs from five innings, Livingstone has enjoyed a lot more success having accumulated 128 from five innings.
Safe to say that there's never really a dull moment when one of these two are at the crease, especially if Roy manages to find his groove.

Some breaking news just reaching us, Oval Invincibles and England fast bowler Reece Topley has decided to take no further part in this year's Hundred.
The 28-year-old is feeling the effects of a "busy summer" and "taking a short break feels like a sensible precaution to avoid injury and the risk of a longer lay-off".
A couple of changes for the Invincibles, Rossouw and Sowter replaces Cartwright and Topley.
The Phoenix are going in with the same team.
Oval Invincibles: Jason Roy, Will Jacks, Sam Billings, Jordan Cox, Rilee Rossouw, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Sunil Narine, Matthew Milnes, Mohammad Hasnain, Nathan Sowter
Birmingham Phoenix: Miles Hammond, Will Smeed, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Matthew Wade, Chris Benjamin, Benny Howell, Tom Helm, Henry Brookes, Kane Richardson, Imran Tahir
Billings tosses the coin, Moeen calls incorrectly and the Invicibles will have a bowl first.
Good evening everybody. How's your Tuesday been so far?
ICYMI the Invincibles women walked away with an easy eight-wicket victory over the Phoenix women.
Can the men follow suit? We'll find out soon enough.
